    I own a 2017 A6 competition V6. I am not very tech savvy but manage quite well with the MMI. The car itself is so impressive to drive.👍🇨🇦

    I love how Audi spend the time to reverse the controls between left and right hand drive models, great attention to detail.

    Personally I think the MMI system looks great.

    My car's MMI screen and Rear sun blind is not working(not going up and down). Tried the buttons, putting in reverse, even removed the battery terminal. No use. Any suggestions ???

    I don't want to buy another SIM card just for the car, so do you think if the bluetooth can let the MMI access Internect from my smartphone? or if the MMI can access my smartphone's hotspot via WIFI? Thanks!

    So I am new to Audi and their NAV system (2016 Q3S Line Quattro Prestige). I was disappointed that you did not start out with anything about from where the Nav maps comes from meaning is there a disk, a chip if so does it have to stay in the system the entire time or does the car download all the maps etc to an HDD in the car (like my CTS V Coupe) or what? In other words if I want to listen to a music CD do I have to pop the NAV disk out or what? Also maybe a helpful link where you can buy nav updates.

    Hi Alex, Thanks for the great vehicle reviews and more detailed media interface reviews. I recently test drove a 2016 A6 and the salesperson could not tell me if the Sirius radio display could be set to view by current "artist" or "song/program" vs only the station. I love this feature in my 2013 BMW (lease is up soon) and constantly scroll the radio by which artist is playing. This feature would almost be a deal breaker for me and stick with BMW, which I may do so regardless. Is this an option in the MMI settings for the A6? I figure if anyone would know it would be you! Thanks again

    Hey man, i was wondering about something. If my A3 (E-Tron, 2016) does not have a Usb slot (only aux), how could i get android auto on it? Mine does sadly not have the NAVI option, no sim, and only 1 SD card slot. I realy want google maps:( Any thoughts?

    Looking at the 2012+ A6. Either Premium Plus or Prestifd Quattro 3.0. Any idea how much the Google Maps/subscription is per month? Can it be used with iPhones?

    • @stephencannon3140
      @stephencannon3140 Před 4 lety

      With the exception of you having a SIRIUSXM package that has a seven piece orchestra or live concerts in your vehicle $28 a month is ridiculous....Even by SXM standards.
      SIRIUSXM was offering $5.00/mo with a 12 mo prepaid subscription. I pay $99/yr for ALL Access and $60/yr + taxes and fees for multiple vehicle accounts. I just saw a $2.75/mo for 36 months prepaid subscription. Add that to my 1 yr free trial from Jeep and that’s four years for just over $100 after taxes for vehicle access. I believe the subscription also includes the SIRIUSXM App for Bluetooth streaming. Check the options $28/ mo
      Hopefully includes multiple vehicles.

    Alex, Google Street View only tells you what was in the camera's eye at the time the Google car drove by-2 years ago? who knows" You make it sound like it is current real time view.

      I believe you will have to have a data subscription to activate Google Earth. It says that in the vid.

      No this thing is clunky as hell, BMW is better then this.

    • @rtownz251251
      @rtownz251251 Před 8 lety +2

      +sir1junior iDrive is nice and more advanced, however this is a lot more simplified. Simplicity is key, especially when using it in your car. iDrive has a million submenu's you have to go through in order to get where you need to be. In MMI on the other hand it's just a lot more logical and easy to use.

    • @sir1junior
      @sir1junior Před 8 lety

      +rtownz251251 Sorry not the program I find clunky it is the control panel I find clunky.

    • @rtownz251251
      @rtownz251251 Před 8 lety +1

      +sir1junior I assume you mean the button placement? I think once you get used to know where the buttons are you can do it without thought. The shortcuts are something you might need to look at (media, telephone, radio and navigation) but that also goes for the iDrive controller (it's just as hard to remember). The contextual buttons speak for themselves and are something to easily get used to. Therefore I think this is a lot safer and easier to use.

    BMW's iDrive is so light years ahead of this it's comical.
    Audi's ux/ui has had a cartoon/Fisher-Price quality for years and it's simply stunning that this is the best they can come up with in 2015. Even Mercedes' and Porsche's are more advanced than this.
