- It's time to share my thoughts on the Salsa Cycles Mukluk fatbike after a full year riding the streets and trails in the north suburbs of Chicago. I purchased this bike from GoodSpeed Cycles in November 2020 and it's been a great way to mix things up instead riding indoors all winter. In this video I'll cover my impressions after 500miles, both good and bad. As always please let me know of any questions or thoughts you have in the comments below!

Dam BoYeee!
🙌 Caw Caw
Bike looking nice and clean.
Curious have any of the studs come out since you installed em?
That's a great question, I have not noticed any but I'll have a closer look the next time I take it out on a ride
Checked today - they're all there!
nice..........tubeless is the way to go..........fatty strippers work great on Mulefut rims
I'm looking forward to making the switch next winter, thanks for the tip I'll check them out!
Hey Tom did you ride the Palos system in the snow? How was it? Pack down pretty good or is it mostly mud
Yes I did last winter, it wasn't super packed down when I went because it had snowed the day before. Ideally you want more people to have walked and packed down the trail before riding it
I have no idea what are alternator drop outs. And I own this Bike.
😆 it allows you to adjust the wheelbase length for a different ride feel
Also QR or single speed rigs :)
What is it with Bicycle brands that they're so cheap, they cannot install a $20 pair of lock-on grips? What's gonna happen is some family member of a politician is gonna get hurt when the grips slide-off, and legislation will be passed making-it mandatory for all bikes to have lock-on grips. It's a wimpy $20 item, ya cheap bastards!
😂
