I got my first dog when I was 42 , a French Bulldog, and my life hasn't been the same since. He is the sweetest, most well behaved, intelligent dog I could have ever asked for.

@@Tubenuubjust keep it a buck and say you don’t like bully breeds. I’m sick of people trying to justify their hate for the breed with this health issue bs. Dalmatians suffer from deafness and urinary stones that can be lethal, cocker spaniels suffer from epilepsy, hip dysplasia and retinal atrophy, German Shepards have hip dysplasia and are prone to bloat but I never hear anyone ever talk about other breeds health issues. It’s always the bully breeds that always get the bad rep. If you don’t like bully breeds that’s fine but people like you should keep your negative thoughts to yourself. Don’t bully my breed.
@@carloslopez-eo3zx as someone who loves bullies (and all dogs), they unfortunately have a point. There are many breeds that have issues and you’re right, but that doesn’t exclude bulldogs and such. It’s just that the issues regarding these dogs (flat face mainly) are immediately noticeable compared to things like deafness in Dalmatians.
My Frenchie would never behave like that, he goes wild when he sees other dogs even though he is a really beautiful Brindle which is the standard color for French Bulldogs.
My Frenchie ended up being half Boston Terrier black with beautiful brindle her name is Jenga. (named after the movie Django) I don't have to walk her with a leash even though I still bring one. Shes 19 lbs perfectly fit. Her 5th birthday is next week and one of the most athletic dogs for her size I trained her well but she always had natural athleticism and obedience. I love her.
It’s all about training. My lilac Merle blue eyed Frenchie boy is super chill. But he’s been trained since 10 weeks old. He heels perfectly on and off leash, sits, downs, stays, begs, play dead, send off, come, and a few more, but besides just the tricks, which is cool but not important to me, is that he’s very well mannered, which is through continuous everyday training. And all his commands are in German, just cuss I’m a gsd and Malinois trainer, so I train the little guy in German like I do all my schutzhund dogs and protection dogs.
You can get your franchie to do anything you’d like, with physical limits of course, all it takes it daily training. They are actually very smart, to my surprise, and I used to think they might not be too intelligent compared to my sport dogs, but owning my little guy, I was quite surprised and blown away at how smart he is and how quick he can get things down.
So basically you're telling us you didn't properly socialize the pup😠

The question of who should have won is an impossible question to answer, as you need to put your hands on the dog -- especially those with coats-- and to see movement with a different angle than the photographer saw.
The Dalmatian was exceptionally good, and I was pleased to see her go Group 2. It is hard to beat the best all-breed winner of the year, however, so we assume the right decision was made.

HOW do they do it? Honestly. How does she, for example, walk down the aisle and call out this dog and that dog by just looking at them. I mean...they ALL look over-the-top gorgeous. It's like splitting hairs.
This is called "an eye for a dog" and while some of us have a natural inclination in this direction, for everyone it takes decades of study and practice on top of that.

French bulldogs need to not be a thing anymore. Those dogs suffer so many respiratory issues because people think they're ugly cute. When in reality they are so genetically messed up.

nope, that only applies to backyard bred dogs. responsibly bred dogs from reputable preservation breeders do not breed their dogs if they have "breathing issues". like this dog: he is visibility in great health and without any respiratory problems. he is also within breed standard, conformation wise.
