I'm outta here" *IT'S THEORY TIME:* So, as I understand, maybe at the back of the Moon there's a black hole/portal in another world where everything's the same but it's not quiet the same and it gives some sorta of deja vu. The 1/2/4 astronauts went there and are missing in the real world. Meanwhile, in the other world they think they arrived in their "real world". Sry if nobody understands.

THEORY!!: Okay, here’s the first one. This astronaut is the same faceless one, the reason he’s faceless is because the government doesn’t want to reveal his identity because he’s gone missing. You can see by his logs/messages to Annie (who I’m presuming is his wife/girlfriend on Earth), he is slowly losing his sanity, especially when he goes into the never ending cave they talk about. You can also see this change in the images, because he goes from faceless to a creepy smile. Near the end, his sanity seems to be back as he is back at home, but not quite. My theory is he went through a portal to another world (kind of like Coraline) where everything is the same, but everyone else he knew is secretly a monster. Hence the “◻️◻️,” referring to the monster in it’s pure form. THEORY TWO!!! (yes, there’s another one): The man goes on a normal journey in space, like a routine orbit around the Earth and back. There was supposed to be nothing wrong, but suddenly “◻️◻️” (aka the monster) jumps in his space shuttle or attacks him and pretends to be him, hence the faceless astronaut picture turning into a picture of an astronaut with a grotesque, beaming smile. You can see the monster being panicked and confused, because he starts calling the astronaut’s wife “Dear” instead of “Annie,” you can also see the messages slowly getting weirder and weirder. Near the end the messages return back to “normal,” with correct grammar and the letter addressing the receiver. The theory is the person going through the portal was also the monster, and the “mirror of the real world” most people are talking about is actually the monster’s home. Thanks for reading :)

at 1:21, the blurred face appears and blinks through a happy man my interpretation is that the happy child (HC) has either fully grown OR the ? company was able to develop adult versions, more advanced technology which they could send for space investigations, rather than risking the lives of ordinary humans. I like to think this was the only HC on the expedition since none of the other astronauts were given such an introduction. The fact that HC was able to keep communicating with Annie (whoever that may be) could speak to the highly advanced technology embedded in his system, which is why it still worked, but was severely corrupted, the closer he got to the hole/ mystery portal?
My theory: Scientists sent people, with fatal illnesses, huge debt, a life of crime, runaways, rebels, pyschopaths, people locked up in a mental hospital, etc. on a mission to explore the back of the moon. While there most of them died (scientists knew this would happen) on the trip, and on the first few hours there. Then they took the rest of the people to keep exploring, and every day, more people died. The ones that didn’t kept getting sent on weirder and more dangerous missions so the rest could keep dying. However the survivors with blackened faces kept persistent. However, they were loosing their sanity. The scientists knew they would survive so they put them on with weeks to months to years of new missions. The plan would later be that once they had completely lost sanity, they would commit suicide of some sort. This whole mission was made by the scientists to try to make a better society without criminals, rebels, people in legal trouble etc. The plan wasn’t to explore the back of the moon, it was to exterminate the bad people in order to fit the rest of the people (who werent as bad) easier into a “perfect” society
That would be inhumane wouldn’t it? Its not World War 2, its a regular society. By sending them on a mission for a astronaut job, it just makes it seem like a work accident happened and the people wouldn’t blame society
For such a short story, I feel so strongly for these people. I get such a strong sense of sadness and almost like agony, for these people. I agree with the people in the comments who say that the man at the end of the clip ended up in a parallel universe, where he thought he was finally home when he really wasn't. It hurts so bad to think of someone who just wants to go home, just wants to see his wife again, to lose sanity and lose his touch with reality. And to end up in a place that looks like his home, but really isn't. One of those things where you're so close, but so, so far away. Literally AND figuratively!!

I think this is where the story starts. Investigating the dark side of the moon the astronauts came upon a strange cubical object. It is weird the are called aviators though. The box might have some sort of portal powers, which allowed an unknown entity to travel through. Based on the shot with the black eyes, maybe the astronauts/aviators we're replaced. Once they returned to Earth, they founded the Chimera Corporation mentioned in another video; I cannot remember which one. A chimera is famously a combination of different animals. The first product they produced was the Happy Microwave. The commercial encouraged people to put human meat in it to gather tissue samples. The microwaves are similar to the box structure found in the moon. These samples are used to create the Happy Children, combinations of the unknown entities and humans. It could be a long term takeover plan.

Gonna retry this because my last whole rant got deleted before I could submit (it's 11:30pm, i'm crying), but been binge watching this so here's what I think is the whole story (again *sobs*) I think our Happiness timelines starts around late 2000's - early 2010's, given how we were only given one confirmed date 2004 in Cali, safe to say we aren't in the 1990's. I think this video is showing us the viewer of another timeline. This is probably so wrong, but it's literally only one detail that makes me say so, how the creator blurs things. Before hand, we only got blurry blurred things, smudged faces, misplaced mouths, etc. But in this video everything is black out blurred, especially their faces, of course the creator could be showing the difference between the creatures (happiness children are different will explain later promise, but they're the same creature) and actual humans by making the blurring different. There's a split frame where you actually get to see the astronaut's face and it's "normal" (heavy on quotations, sorry buddy), we don't even get split frames we just get blurred faces and messed up faces. That's what set alarm bells in my head. The Happiness videos now, what the hell is this company we have no name of. Right now we don't know a lot about Maria, other than her symbolism with the Devil and how she sorta looks like Mother Mary, and has a spinoff name of Mary, huh. I think the creatures are devoted to her, they would do anything for their God, just like any other religious being. Which is where I bring my confusion on, why on Earth is the Happiness Company making human sacrificing microwaves when the creatures and HC don't even eat dead things. It says so in the Good Book, they can't tell if someone is fake sleeping or real sleeping, you can chalk it up and say they're stupid, but those things can open doors. It's a pretty hard task for even younger children to do, so how can a creature who's barely been here for 6 years let's say already know how to enter people's homes and just open doors. It's all confusing, but it makes sorta sense if you think of it in bear terms. Certain bears eat alive things, if Disney Channel boy scouts taught me anything was that laying on the floor still will make the bear wander off because they think you're dead. You're not what they want. So if Happiness Company is making Microwaves that encourage to eat your mother-in-law, why are they making it. I think it's for Maria. Maria is the reason all of this is happening, why Happiness Company suddenly started to make things and be proactive in the community. Why they have a kindergarten, dedicated to feeding the creatures, why they have to teach kids that HCs aren't nice, because the Happiness Company was teaching them it was. I think the Happiness Company has a deal with the creatures or something, how do you jump from, advertising to let these creatures in your home, to, making killer microwaves. It doesn't make sense. Now onto two small little theory that I have that's really stupid. One; The one who made Good Book, is probably a scientist in the Happiness Company, they have so much insight on these creatures, "they can't read...hide in a quiet place...they can't tell the difference..." so if my theory is correct on how the Company is working with these creatures to kill humans, a character trying to help humans while working so close to their enemy is pretty cool to imagine Two; Creatures and Happiness Children are super different, but they're still the same creature. Think like Black Bears and Sun Bears, both are bears but they're super different you can identify them as individuals. Creatures are people who are working with the Happiness Company and make the advertisements, while Happiness Children go out and get the sacrifices for Maria.
everybody's coming up with really complicated theories, but it's actually quite simple: on the back of the moon, there's a really big cave. now the moon actually has these, they're called lava tunnels and they're massive. so basically, astronauts were sent to the back of the moon to explore, they come across a massive cave, go in for exploratory reasons, and then they get lost. they're stuck there for years, and slowly go insane, with nothing but the space-sealed food and water to stay alive. the messages go weird because they got more and more corrupted the further the astronauts went down this lava tunnel. the messages become normal again, because the astronauts manage to find their way out, and get back home. the astronauts are still insane and traumatised though, which is why they're faceless/creepily smiling when you see them.
obviously neail armstrong is losing his face on tuesdays at 5pm to Wednesdays at 4am and he's texting annie (who is the musical) and while his face is gone he's jamming out to nevermind (1991 album, featuring top hits like 'come as you are' and 'smells like teen spirit') but of course he's not singing since he has no face. the. government. this is my final theory, I did a lot of research on this.
my theory: the man was a person living on earth until he got obsessed with it that he named it "Annie" which is why it said "beautiful blue, beautiful annie" which means he was reffering to the earth he named annie. He went on a journey to the moon to explore it because of his obsessions with it. He explored the moon for many years that he explored the back of the moon. The holes on the moon are the portals to other dimensions and years that is why he said random years like 1975 and other that he dont know where he is or what year is because of it. The guy was finding the truth of the back of the moon where he found a cave with long end probably because he was transported into a different dimension. He does not know what is true or not because the moon was giving him hallucinations of different dimensions from living on it very long. The moon was taking his sanity that he forgot earth's name which is annie so he calls it "dear" and which is why he doesnt know what time, what year he is in. The moon was playing with him by giving hallucinations but the solid moon was not the one doing that it was the space alien or monster was the one controlling him. The guy was faceless at first but it turned into a smile that portrays the monster has gone into him controlling his mind and slowly consuming his memories which is why he does not remember why he got there in the first place. Another theory about the faceless guy is because the government covered the guy's face for no one to recognize because the government was secretly hiding their new experiment "space monster" that consumes a person's mind by taking their body and putting hallucinations. The reason they put it in the moon was because the government was also scared of it that they will be under the monster and hallucinations which they forget their environment. The government could be HC which is the people who made happy child that the monster they made was a happy child creation also that went out of the universe because it was very depressed lol. 2nd theory: The monster was named "annie" an experiment by the government or HC it was sold to a person which was the faceless guy and it was told/threatened to go to the back of the moon but annie knew what was going to happen because annie thought that the faceless guy was the HC company trying to sell her. Annie was the monster who consumed him.

Certain bears eat alive things, if Disney Channel boy scouts taught me anything was that laying on the floor still will make the bear wander off because they think you're dead. You're not what they want. So if Happiness Company is making Microwaves that encourage to eat your mother-in-law, why are they making it. I think it's for Maria. Maria is the reason all of this is happening, why Happiness Company suddenly started to make things and be proactive in the community. Why they have a kindergarten, dedicated to feeding the creatures, why they have to teach kids that HCs aren't nice, because the Happiness Company was teaching them it was.
I think the Happiness Company has a deal with the creatures or something, how do you jump from, advertising to let these creatures in your home, to, making killer microwaves. It doesn't make sense. Now onto two small little theory that I have that's really stupid.
One; The one who made Good Book, is probably a scientist in the Happiness Company, they have so much insight on these creatures, "they can't read...hide in a quiet place...they can't tell the difference..." so if my theory is correct on how the Company is working with these creatures to kill humans, a character trying to help humans while working so close to their enemy is pretty cool to imagine
Two; Creatures and Happiness Children are super different, but they're still the same creature. Think like Black Bears and Sun Bears, both are bears but they're super different you can identify them as individuals. Creatures are people who are working with the Happiness Company and make the advertisements, while Happiness Children go out and get the sacrifices for Maria.

everybody's coming up with really complicated theories, but it's actually quite simple:
on the back of the moon, there's a really big cave. now the moon actually has these, they're called lava tunnels and they're massive. so basically, astronauts were sent to the back of the moon to explore, they come across a massive cave, go in for exploratory reasons, and then they get lost. they're stuck there for years, and slowly go insane, with nothing but the space-sealed food and water to stay alive. the messages go weird because they got more and more corrupted the further the astronauts went down this lava tunnel. the messages become normal again, because the astronauts manage to find their way out, and get back home. the astronauts are still insane and traumatised though, which is why they're faceless/creepily smiling when you see them.
this kinda vibe is my favorite!

These are very basic, but still not bad, its about time to expand
my theory:
the man was a person living on earth until he got obsessed with it that he named it "Annie" which is why it said "beautiful blue, beautiful annie" which means he was reffering to the earth he named annie. He went on a journey to the moon to explore it because of his obsessions with it. He explored the moon for many years that he explored the back of the moon. The holes on the moon are the portals to other dimensions and years that is why he said random years like 1975 and other that he dont know where he is or what year is because of it. The guy was finding the truth of the back of the moon where he found a cave with long end probably because he was transported into a different dimension. He does not know what is true or not because the moon was giving him hallucinations of different dimensions from living on it very long. The moon was taking his sanity that he forgot earth's name which is annie so he calls it "dear" and which is why he doesnt know what time, what year he is in. The moon was playing with him by giving hallucinations but the solid moon was not the one doing that it was the space alien or monster was the one controlling him. The guy was faceless at first but it turned into a smile that portrays the monster has gone into him controlling his mind and slowly consuming his memories which is why he does not remember why he got there in the first place. Another theory about the faceless guy is because the government covered the guy's face for no one to recognize because the government was secretly hiding their new experiment "space monster" that consumes a person's mind by taking their body and putting hallucinations. The reason they put it in the moon was because the government was also scared of it that they will be under the monster and hallucinations which they forget their environment. The government could be HC which is the people who made happy child that the monster they made was a happy child creation also that went out of the universe because it was very depressed lol.
2nd theory:
The monster was named "annie" an experiment by the government or HC it was sold to a person which was the faceless guy and it was told/threatened to go to the back of the moon but annie knew what was going to happen because annie thought that the faceless guy was the HC company trying to sell her. Annie was the monster who consumed him.
