Did the doctors check for polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR)?
From the web:
Without treatment, PMR does not get better. However, low doses of corticosteroids (such as prednisone, 10 to 20 mg per day) can markedly ease symptoms, often within a day or two. The dose should then be slowly reduced to a very low level. Treatment needs to continue for 1 to 2 years

Hi Jennifer so glad you're taking care of yourself. I've had iron infusions and they really help. How is your vitamin B12? It may also be low too. Have they checked your c-reactive protein too?

My doctor told me that if I take vitamin C with my iron supplement that it will absorb better. Also, gut health is very important (taking a very good acidophilus probiotic). My Naturopathic doctor has really helped me a lot with my overall health. Take care!💜
