I just bought this projector. My remote doesn't power on the projector I always have to manually turn it on but works fine once turned on. Am I missing something?

I just bought this projector. This review was not useful for me at all. Everything in here, I already knew. The other things I wanted to know weren't even hinted at.
Also, everything else I have seen and read said t4he projector goes up to 300" not just 150".
