It clearly attributes increases in heatwaves, droughts, major hurricanes, and flooding in some areas--along with other disruptions of traditional climate patterns--to our emissions.
Attribution research find that our emissions have made specific climate disasters anywhere from 30% more likely to be that bad to 100 times more likely to occur to virtually impossible to occur without man-made global warming and climate disruption.
Our emissions are not the only way we are eroding the Earth's ability to support life, but they are definitely one potent means of self-destruction.

The most critical part of this house of cards in my opinion is agriculture. 40% of the world's soils are in a degraded state and topsoil erosion rate has doubled because of climate change. By 2060 some US agronomists predict top soil will be less than 15cm in depth throughou much of the midwest. This is too shallow to grow corn or any othe staple. Keep in mind that the US currently feeds about 900 million people outside of its borders. So even if we do manage to somehow make the transition to renewables it is unlikely that the present state of global stability can be maintained. The sweltering heat in SEA and the enormous floods are already having impacts on global ag production these past two years. CHINA HAS BOUGHT UP ABOUT 1/2 the world's stock of grain to prepare for famine. Famine->civil strife->many more failed states->CHAOS. THE WASTELAND IS COMING AND NOTHING CAN STOP IT.

Econ 101: supply and demand, so dramatically reduced demand forces an equivalent reduction in supply. We saw this in the US during the COVID-19 shutdowns when the oil price dropped so low they were paying us to haul it away and hundreds of oil exploration/production operators went bankrupt.. Cherry-picking isolated and unrepresentative examples can't prove anything when discussing global issues. If I wanted to cherry-pick, I would point out that I live in Ohio, where we haven't had a real winter in 3 years, but thinking globally, ski seasons have shrunk 4-5 weeks since 1980. The extreme atmospheric rivers that slammed the West Coast and created that new lake are a direct by-product of man-made global warming (warmer ait can hold more moisture, so we will often go back and forth before more extreme droughts [which the American Southwest recently had] and more extreme precipitation. But growing food will become harder and harder to do.

But, the title of this video seems to be misleading or mislead. It's more about a controlled and sane further increase of global temperaturen - all to US and western advantage. (The west is able to have more aircon and higher dams like the lowlands).
But (Denmarks) Greenland may become ice free to a hudge extend - a bounty of natural resources at the EU's and US frontdoor(1), easy at hand very comfortable to exploit, safe transports guaranteed.
And let the populations fight temperature increase, they do good to the world, spread english language and the nice use of tech based solution; their demand and competition makes better aircons and smarter cars next year, all very helpfull and keeps them busy, occupied.(2, 3)
1 - Of course not via Pacific Ocean, Capetown or the Suez Channel - lower transportation polutions from close by bounty Greenland to mayor US and EU harbours may help to turn the tide again a little later on? As soon as project ice free Greenland has been almost finished? (In part BS, we don't know the ship engines of 25 years from now, maybe most hudge container ships have gone atomic since then? Use copies of the successfull US carrier rigs, 'a export success made in USA'? We simply don't know.)
2 - But nobody is interested in the USA anymore anyway, 'time for a change'.
3 - bilateral special treaties between the US and Denmark will guarantee for Greenlands security and more exclusive acces to Greenlands resources for the US than the rest of the EU? 'Denmark to go a little more US - like Norway already has done?' Would make sense.(4).
4 - Denmark in a way helped with Nord Stream? That qualifies her for better rates by the US with regard to bounty Greenland? We will find out.
