There are many compilations but NONE of them as good as GR's. Dude is a genius.

Nice callback. Dr. Erskine would feel disappointed seen another "Red Skull" situation like this one.
In this case, the serum made Steve a guardian angel. But, for John, it turned him into a demon.
Exactly and Walker did have good intentions going into this. He didn't want to be or replace Steve. He's just trying to be the best Captain America he can be. Also as we learned in this episode he probably did some tough stuff over in Afghanistan and he saw this as a chance to finally do something good. However, just taking up the shield doesn't change who you are on the inside. You can also see what led him to taking the serum which was the catalyst point for his character arc. He keeps trying to do his best and he's constantly beaten, disrespected, questioned, and undermined. So he turns to take the serum, I think shortly before all that went down towards the end. Which means that he is in an unstable state and then he sees his best friend die. At that point all reason and rationality have left the building, all he sees is red. That's why I love his character because you can track his character arc and it makes sense and is even sympathetic in a way. Especially with what happened in episode 5 with him and the gov't.

I dunno if its because Marvel already has its branding and reputation, but I love the production of this, everyone looks to be taking it seriously but in a fun way regardless.
Exactly. But also building on what we know about the main characters: Sam & his ability to empathize AND kick ass; Bucky & his journey to redemption but never forgetting his badassery. I'm impressed by the layers Marvel is allowing in their series' so far.

I agree. The actor performing as Walker was phenomenal! I absolutely hated him as character but I also appreciated the complexity. It is like when we discuss someone being racist in the US. Sometimes the answer is far more complex than just race.

I don’t even think Karli meant to kill Lemar, it’s just the fact that the serum makes you say more powerful than you even realize and one lash out can be fatal. This is what Zemo was trying to explain. Cap knew how to control that strength and keep his emotions in check which made him a great hero.
