@@stefanodallasen796vero, io sono stufa anche di esplosioni al testosterone, le gare a chi ha l’acuto più portentoso e più lungo ma che sul palcoscenico sembrano statue e si preoccupano solo di “cantare” le lascio agli intenditori, io non lo sono e giudico in base a quello che mi trasmette “l’interprete”. 😅

I love Jonas Kaufmann's voice. Great color, power, marvelous pianissimo, velvety, dusky.. The greatest tenor of our generation for sure. He can sing anything greatly.
I agree with you.
If you listen closely you can tell that he does have some ingolata which is when the back of the tongue pushes the larynx to low and you end up not during the full potential of your voice due to the lack of squillo because of the artificially darkened and swallowed sounding tone. It also makes it harder to have good power at the bottom of your range as well and at the top too. That is not to say just because someone has ingolata doesn’t mean that their voice is necessarily weak or not powerful or anything. It’s just that they’ve been training with the ingolata instead of using proper technique where you find that “sweet” spot where it’s the right balance of dark and bright. I know this because I’m training in opera and I switched back and forth between proper technique and ingolata just for fun to and the strength and power we’re still there but we’re severely muffled due to the back of the tongue lowering my larynx way to much and there was way less squillo as well.

I admire him very much! not only for the outstanding voice ( he really has power!) the manly tone, but for the incredible technique and dedication to his art ( the messa di voce in Aida is very seldom heard wordly speaking, just for instance)
In Aida you don't have to be deaf to hear it in the ensembles. No projection, a dreadful technique that causes him a lot of health problems.
Su voz. No tiene poder , mas bien está engolada con una oscuridad exagerada y no puede hacer un Messa di voce correctamente debido a su mala técnica

The conductor is Jochen Rieder. He works very, very closly with JK since years. Both made together their debut à la scala... the famous "Evening with Puccini"😉👍

Yo no soy critico de arte (ninguno) pero mw gusta mucho escuchar y si es posible ver opera. Me emociona oir cantar a Jonas Kaufmann, mas que a otros tenores. Creo que lo mas importante es si te gusta lo que hace o no te gusta. En mi caso me emociona, aunque cante en aleman que no enteindo nada. En estos casos busco un libreto aleman/español.
