So, in Acts 2:37 they asked " What must we do"? and you would have said " nothing"? You "merit " your salvation when you do what you want to be saved, like faith only. But when you obey the Lord and do what he says, you are not earning your salvation, it is called "faith". Romans 3:27 says boasting is excluded in the law of faith and did you know that baptism is of the law of faith? Gal 3:26-27 and Col 2:12 so boasting is excluded in baptism and is not of the works of Eph 2, which btw is talking about works of the law......just keep reading. It says faith through grace, what happens if you no longer have grace? Gal 5:4 says you can FALL FROM GRACE.....will you still be saved?

It baffles me that these people that teach lordship salvation, always believe that they are saved and somewhat sinless, and always judge other people so harshly that it's like they don't want the "sinners" to be saved...to me, they are just carnal in their thinking and don't understand how complete the sacrifice of our Lord was, thinking they can add or subtract from the righteousness that comes through the blood of Jesus.

Lordship Salvation as some call it means that we by the anointing of the Holy Spirit recognize Jesus for who He is and give Him the honor that He is due by surrendering to Him in obedience.
      He wants our total commitment.
He has earned it; He is worthy of it. Ultimately, this is how our walk with Christ should begin, by recognizing and confessing sin and that He is Lord.
The term Lord means someone to be obeyed.
If He is, we as His sheep will follow our Shepherd.
      John 10:14,27
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
It's not adding works as proof, its a unquenchable desire for living for and pleasing Jesus that will produce good fruit.
It's loving Him because He first loved us and gave himself for us
This is how salvation is obtained, by repentance and this very recognition.
We are all Under the Lordship of Jesus or the lordship of satan.
      They both have opposing kingdoms.
      There is no in between.
      Romans 6:14-15
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.16Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, [satan's lordship] or of obedience unto righteousness?[Jesus's Lordship]

I'm glad when I got saved back in 1977 that nobody ever told me I could lose it. I read the Bible through and never once thought the Bible taught that you could lose salvation. All these years later I now KNOW the Bible never once teaches you can lose your eternal salvation that is given to you as a free gift by grace because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross. I believed what Jesus did for me at Calvary and God forgave ALL my sins in an instant. I'm not going to heaven now because of how well I've lived since April 3, 1977, but because Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and became the perfect sacrifice for sins as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. It is a disgrace to grace to add anything to the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins either to get saved or to keep ourselves saved.

Bob, Fantastic rebuttal, using the same Scripture verses they use to say we can lose our salvation. I have a not so short story for you that happened to me many years ago. I grew up being brought by my dear Mother to church from the time I could walk. I distinctly remember "knowing" I could lose my salvation if I went "HAM" and lost my "Way". So, fast forward to around the time I was in my late teens and my girlfriend and I were not so genuinely serious about our commitment to the Lord, and unfortunately she became pregnant and just sent us into a tailspin, trying to figure out how this was all going to turn out. Well, Unbeknownst to me, my girlfriend and her family had decided on the horrible act of terminating the pregnancy without talking to me about it (because of course even in the late 80, a woman and her family could make the decision on her own without the involved father) When I found out, I pleaded with her not to go through with it, that if she agreed I and my Parents would raise the child. She said she would think about it and call me back. Since she lived a little over 30 miles away from me and I had a job I wasnt able to get her to talk to me. 4 days after she said she'd call me back I got her on the phone at which time she told me the termination was done! I was in shock! I didn't expect it to happen so quickly. (I mean I was no where near being what I thought a capable father should be, but I knew in my heart I couldn't let this happen.) I knew it was wrong and looking back today and many times over the years ive wondered what more could I have done.
I have come to forgive myself for my youthful failings but I told that story to say this.
    1. I believe that I was saved by Grace at the age of 13 and held my faith close to my heart, going as far as to destroy secular Music albums I had treasured as a kid.
    2. I was brought up to believe Human Life was very Special. But I had been a part of something that violated that very deep seated Belief, That Life can NOT just be cast aside like a broken chair or an appliance that is worn out.
    3. And that brings me to the conclusion. The "Thing" that changed my mind about my Eternal Salvation. IF I, tortured myself about what had happened and how wrong it was... Well Of Course!... GOD would never Cast You or Me outside of his House, in effect committing a "Spiritual Abortion"... Impossible! We don't believe in abortion and that comes from GOD himself. Final answer: Eternal Security. Because he Will Never cast us out after having Paid the Heaviest Price for US! Thank You My Lord and My GOD. PS thanks again Bob, tonight you reminded me to think about my Eternal Security and How much Ive grown to Love the Thought of it!

That would be blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.
      Hebrews 6:4-6
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

      Hebrews 3:6-19
But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, (IF) indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.,7So as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, (IF) you hear his voice,
      8do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the wilderness,
9where your ancestors tested and tried me,
though for forty years they saw what I did.
      10That is why I was angry with that generation;
I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.’
11So I declared on oath in my anger,
[‘They shall never enter my rest.’ ”]
👉12 See to it brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living
God.👈 13But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14We have come to share in Christ, (IF] indeed we hold our original conviction firmly TO
THE VERY END. 15As has just been said:
“Today, (IF) you hear his voice,
      do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion.”
      16. Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did God swear that THEY WOULD NEVER ENTER HIS REST (IF) NOT TO THOSE WHO DISOBEYED?
19 So we see that THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ENTER, BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF.
      Hebrews 10:26
If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

So, can a believer become an unbeliever? if so, will they still be saved? Like in John 6 when disciples walked with Jesus no more, were they still saved?
Can one be severed from Christ? Fall from GRACE? and still be saved? Gal 5:4
Can one DEPART FROM THE FAITH? Giving heed to deceitful spirits? and doctrine of demons? 1 Timothy 4:1 and still be saved?
If God takes away your share in the tree of life and the holy city, Rev 22:19 will you still be saved?
Be faithful unto death, and God will give you the crown of life Rev 2:10. So, if I am not faithful? will God give me the crown of life?
He who CONQUERS shall thus be clad in white garments, and I will NOT BLOT HIS NAME OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE". Rev3:5 so, If I DO NOT CONQUER, WILL MY NAME BE BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE
Any one who does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God, 2 John 1:9 so, if I do not abide in his doctrine? will I be saved?
Any one who hates his brother is a murderer and no murderer has eternal life abiding in him 1 John 3:15 So, if I hate my brother, will I be saved?
He who says "I know him" but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 1 John 2:4 so if I disobey his commandments I am a liar, am I still saved? the truth is not in me, am I still saved?
Walk in the light as he is in the light and the blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin 1John 1:7 So, if I do not walk in the light, will the blood of Christ cleanse me?
Jesus said, " Every man who hears these word of mine and does them will be like a wise man Matt7:24 So, if I do the words of Jesus am I earning my salvation? Then Jesus said, " Every man who hears my words and does not do them is a foolish man.." so if I do not do his words, will I be saved? Matt 7:21 " Not everyone who says Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER"....so, If I do the will of the Father, am I earning my salvation? will I be saved if I do not obey the Fathers will?
We are saved by faith, an obedient faith, not a dead faith James 2 and saved by faith when we have been baptized into Christ, Gal 3:26-27 and it says in Col 3:1 after we have been raised up with Christ in baptism, TO SEEK THE THINGS ABOVE......

I was born again at 19 but fell away from the faith eventually into new age beliefs like reincarnation and I remained in this belief for 25 years but 9 months ago after a health crisis I realized I needed God and came back to faith however I’m not sure I can be saved because I fell away into unbelief because of deceptions of false doctrines. I never stood up and renounced Jesus or God but after seeing CZcams videos and reading intellectual things I began to question whether Jesus existed. I feel so horrible that I somehow forgot who Jesus was and fell into unbelief and I’m also terrified that now I’m damned 😥 worst part of all is I didn’t even realize what I was doing I believed the new age lies all the light and love garbage. I never even knew I was without God because I thought God was the universe. This is so horrifying because I never ever meant to hurt or offend God 😥😥 buy according to Hebrews I cannot have repentance if that’s what Hebrews means ? Can someone please comment 🙏✝️

Have you watched the video? This video is a defense of OSAS, not a disputation of it. Which scripture in your mind is the single strongest proof against OSAS? Please explain how that verse is explaining the loss of salvation.
      OSAS is biblical:
      John 5:24
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." (Joh 5:24)
      John 11:25-26
Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" (Joh 11:25-26)
      John 6:47
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." (Joh 6:47)
      Acts 16:31
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Act 16:31)
      1 John 3:23
"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." (1Jn 3:23)
      John 8:24
"I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins." (Joh 8:24)
      John 6:29
"Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." (Joh 6:29)
      1 Corinthians 1:21
"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
      1 John 5:1
"Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him." (1Jn 5:1)
      John 3:15
"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (Joh 3:15)
      John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (Joh 3:16)
      John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (Joh 3:36)
      Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Rom 10:9)
      Romans 10:10
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom 10:10)
      Mark 16:16
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
      Acts 10:43
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."
      1 John 5:5
"Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"
      Romans 4:5
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
      Romans 1:16
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."
      John 14:12-14
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."
      1 John 5:10-13
"And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (1Jn 5:10-13)
      Romans 11:23

Ok so how can you be granted 'something eternal" if it's only "temporary"?
      They defies the very definition.
God does the saving. We have no part, we merely accept it.
If you have true repentance and accept the gift, you can't give it back, it's not yours to give.
There are loads of scriptures that show this.
And how about this for you as well, about not what the Bible says, but what it doesn't say.
Can you find a single example of anyone that was saved, sealed with the holy spirit, where they decided they were forfeiting their salvation, and the Bible describes them being stripped of the holy spirit?
Surely LOTS of people would be moving in and out of salvation over time, yet not a single example of this happening?
      That says a lot.
      Because it doesn't happen.
Eternal life when given, is ETERNAL of God is a liar.
      Be at peace knowing this.
      Goode evening,

      @yeshuaneitheristheresalvat8018 Před 5 měsíci +3

Adam you are actually saying that Lord Jesus is a liar, a deceiver, a fraud, a sinner, and not God!
I know He is none of those, and I am perfectly presumptuous that Lord Jesus is truthfull and means what He says, and furthermore when He saved me, He immediately made good on another of His promises (" all His promises are yes and yes and amen and amen") and that is He made me "KNOW" IT. 1 JN 5:13.
YOU MADE A STATEMENT WITHOUT BRINGING ANY CONTEXTUAL QUOTES FROM MY SAVIOUR JESUS.
LET ME ASK YOU THIS: DO YOU "KNOW" (not think) but "KNOW" THAT LORD JESUS PROMISES TO GIVE US A "2nd spirit of fear again to bondage" ? No you do not know dear Adam, because He says the exact opposite of that. You really think Christ came down to give us a 2nd spirit of FEAR UNTO BONDAGE AGAIN? You know, like the 1st spirit of fear you got from Adam when you realized your sins "already condemned" you John 3:18
My secure forever Lord Jesus told and produced in me "a spirit of ADOPTION, WHERE I CRY DADDY FATHER." TO THOSE SAINTS WHOSE MINDS ARE HABITUALLY IN SCRIPTURE, THEY ARE AWARE WHERE THIS TRUTH IS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT.
ROMANS, " YOU HAVE NOT (DID YOU HEAR WHAT MY SAVIOUR JESUS SAYS, DID YOU LITERALLY HEAR HIM OR NOT) RECEIVED A spirit OF FEAR "AGAIN" (DID YOU HERE HIM, DO YOU AGREE WITH HIM OR NOT?) UNTO Bondage, BUT A spirit OF ADOPTION WHEREBY WE CRY ABBA FATHER." CAN YOU SEE THAT LORD JESUS SAYS WHEN HE SAVES A SOUL, THAT YOU DID NOT RECEIVE A 2ND "spirit OF FEAR AGAIN..." DO YOU SEE THE WORD AGAIN! THAT MEANS AT TRUE CONVERSION, NOT ONLY DOES THE FATHER, LORD JESUS, and HOLY SPIRIT ENTER IN AN SEAL US FOREVER, BUT YOU ALSO RECEIVE A 2nd small "s" spirit. It's all over in the New Testament.
"He has PERFECTED forever (how long did Lord Jesus say Adam? He has (past tense) perfected forever, forever, forever, THOSE THAT ARE BEING SANCTIFIED." THE FIRST CLAUSE IS SALVATION, THE SECOND CLAUSE IS SANCTIFICATION.
"PERFECT LOVE CAST OUT FEAR. FOR FEAR HAS TORMENT, AND THE ONE WHO FEARS HAD NOT BEEN MADE "PERFECT" IN THE LOVE OF GOD."
YOU ARE CLAIMING BY YOUR COMMENT (AND WITHOUT ANY CONTEXTUAL TEACHING OF LORD JESUS) THAT YOU HAVE NOT BEEN MADE PERFECT IN THE LOVE OF GOD.
WE PRAY FATHER YOUR WILL COME TO JESUS NOW FOR SALVATION BEFORE ITS ETERNALLY TOO LATE FOR YOU, OR, IF HE HAS SAVED YOU, TRANSLATED YOU FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT, FROM CORRUPTIBLE SEED TO INCORRUPTIBLE, FROM DEATH TO LIFE ETC, THAT YOU WILL LET THE SPIRIT COMFORT YOU THAT JESUS HAS ETERNALLY SECURED YOU IN, BY, AND THROUGH HIMSELF ONLY.
IN MY KING YESHUAS AGAPE' ADAM, BELEIVE ME.
DID HE EVER TELL US THAT HE WILL UNBORN US AGAIN! DID HE EVER PROMISE ME THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD WOULD NOT BE IN ME AND WITH ME FOREVER! DID HE EVER TELL US HE WOULD TAKE HIMSELF (ETERNAL LIFE) OUT OF ME! DID HE EVER TELL US HE WOULD RE-TRANSLATE ME FROM LIFE BACK TO DARKNESS! DID HE EVER TELL ME I WOULD GO BACK TO THIRSTING FOREVER AGAIN, OR HUNGER FOREVER AGAIN! DID HE EVER TELL ME OR US THAT AFTER HE GAVE ME THE NEW BIRTH AND CHANGED ME FROM Corruptible SEED TO INCORRUPTABLE, THAT HE WOULD PUT ME BACK TO Corruptible SEED AGAIN! DID HE EVER TELL ME THAT WHEN I Believed AND WAS "SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE WHO IS THE EARNEST OF MY INHERITANCE UNTIL THE DAY OF REDEMPTION OF THE "PURCHASED" POSSESSION, THAT HE WOULD TAKE THE SPIRIT OUT AND UN-PURCHADE AND UN-REDEEMEM ME!
DID HE EVER TELL ME THAT WHEN HE " HAS (PAST TENSE ALREADY DONE, JUSTIFICATION TO LIFE) PERFECTED FOREVER (DID YOU HEAR LORD JESUS' WORD AND PROMISE, ARE YOU LISTENING TO HIM? DO YOU BELIEVE HE IS TELLING YOU THE TRUTH OR TELLING YOU A LIE? DID HE TELL ME THAT IN JOHN 5:24 ONCE HE SAVED ME AND SECURED ME FOREVER IN, BY, AND THROUGH HIMSELF ONLY, THAT " HAS EVERLASTING LIFE, YOU WILL NEVER, NEVER,NEVER, COME INTO CONDEMNATION, BUT HAS (AGAIN LISTEN TO LORD JESUS, HAS Already PASSED FROM DEATH INTO LIFE," THAT HE WILL PASS ME BACK INTO DEATH, AND CONDEMNATION, AND UN DO HIMSELF IN ME!
SIR EITHER YOU ARE STILL IN A ETERNALLY CONDEMNED STATE JOHN 3:18, OR YOU ARE TRULY SAVED BY JESUS AND HAVE NOT ALLOWED THE SPIRIT TO COMFORT YOU IN YOU SECURITY IN, BY, AND Through CHRIST ONLY!
IF YOU ARE STILL LOST, THEN YOU ONLY HAVE THE Spirit of FEAR TO Bondage, ROMANS.
IF CHRIST HAS TRULY SAVED YOU AND YOU HAVE NOT SEEN YOUR ETERNAL STANDING AS SECURED IN HIM ONLY, THEN YOU ARE STILL LIVING IN THE ADAMIC spirit OF FEAR TO BONDAGE.
THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON YOU IF YOU ARE GOING TO CLAIM THAT CHRIST WAS A FAILURE, (FOR IN ESSENCE THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING, ALTHOUGH NOT Deliberately) THEN YOU MUST SHOW WHERE CHRIST IS IN ERROR CONTEXTUALLY AS THESE SCRIPTURES CONTEXTUALLY ATTEST TO THAT HE HAS PROMISED ME, ANS ALL THE SAINTS ETERNAL SECURITY IN, BY, AND THRIUGH HIM ONLY.
ADAM, WHY DO YOU THINK ADAM AND EVE COULD NOT GET BACK INTO EDEN. LET THE LORD ANSWER US. BECAUSE THEY COULD HAVE TAKEN FROM THE TREE OF LIFE. BUT THEN BEFORE REDEMPTION BY CHRIST WAS COMPLETE, THEY WOULD HAVE PERPETUATED SIN IN GODS PRESENCE FOREVER, AND HE COULD NOT CONDEMN THEM, OR CAST THEM OUT. BECAUSE, TAKING FROM THE TREE OF LIFE WAS ETERNALLY SECURING THEM AND GOD CANNOT REVERSE THAT. THAT TREE OF LIFE REPRESENTED CHRIST. THAT IS WHY THE ANGEL Guarded IT!!!! THERE WAS A CHERUBIM AT EDEN, MANY ON THE VEIL IN THE HOLY PLACE, AND 2 MORE ON THE ARK IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES. PLEASE STUDY WHY. AND SO AS IN THE TREE OF LIFE IN EDEN, SO WHEN CHRIST SAVES, HE SAVES ONCE AND FOR ALWAYS, HE CANNOT REVERSE IT. JUST LIKE IF ADAM AND EVE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN BACK IN AND EATEN FROM THE TREE OF LIFE!
ADAM, THIS IS LORD JESUS' PROMISE TO YOU, AD IT WAS TO ME 47 YEARS AGO ONE NIGHT IN MY BEDROOM: " HE THAT HEARS MY WORD AND BELIEVES ON HIM THAT SENT ME HAS EVERLASTING LIFE. YOU WILL NEVER COME INTO CONDEMNATION, BUT HAD PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE.
ONLY LORD JESUS CAN PERFECT YOU IN THE LOVE OF GOD. LET HIM.

a crown of life is not salvation. A crown is a reward you may or may not receive when you get to heaven. Many people in heaven won't receive a reward because their doctrine is so bad, that they never really win any souls to Christ, instead they discourage them from trusting in the Book. Sounds like you're reading an NIV, or any of these "modern" corrupt Bibles.

The The three crosses in the bible prove once saved always saved. The thief on the cross on the right went to heaven, he never took the sacraments, he never went to church, he never was baptized, he never said the rosary, he broke the commandments, he didnt keep the law, He woke up in heaven. Because Jesus died on the cross for all sins for everyone. and said it is finished. so once saved always saved.
The church of christ will get to heaven if saved and be the ones that are very surprised. for they do not rightly dived the Word of God. With Scripture with Scripture.
Colossians 2:11-12: Once you have accepted Christ by faith, you are cut off from your sins. No matter what kind of “unforgivable” sin you may commit, you still have no sins in you. You’re forgiven from all sins in the past, and you are free from all sins in the future. You are saved, even if you commit the most numerous or heinous sins.
John 10:27-30: Christ and God the Father have you in their hands. Christ said once you belong to Him, no one can pluck you out of His or God the Father’s hands. It is impossible then that anyone or anything can have the power to pluck you out of God’s hand.
Romans 8:38-39: God said that absolutely nothing in this universe, life, or time can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. You cannot separate yourself from Christ with anything, no matter how hard you try.
John 1:12: God says that once you received Christ, you are a son of God. Let me ask you, “If your father bore you, you are his son, right? Let’s say that you hate your father and you separate yourself from him. Does this mean that you are still not his son?” Of course, not! It’s the same thing with God and you. Since you are God’s son, you cannot undo your “son-ship” from God.
Ephesians 1:13: The Bible says once you believed on Christ, you are sealed by the Holy Ghost. Never did the Bible say that once you are sealed, the Holy Ghost can un-seal you. Once the Bible says you are sealed, you are sealed! Nothing more or less. Once the Holy Ghost seals you, there is no possible way that you can un-seal and overpower God the Holy Ghost.
I Corinthians 12:12-27: The Bible says that you are a member of the body of Christ. God said it is impossible to lose a member of Christ’s body. God also said that there is no schism in the body of Christ (vs. 25); so, no matter what sin you may commit, you are still clean from sin.
I John 5:11-13: God said that once you believed on Christ, you have eternal life. “Eternal” means “forever.” Plus, God says that this life is a record (vs. 11). Once something is recorded and eternal, you can’t erase it away. God also says that once you believed, you know that you are saved (vs. 13). It’s impossible to lose your salvation.
    ETC.....

The problem with these false teachers who teach things like you can lose salvation is that they don't actually believe that the Lord Jesus Christ can truly save them. They don't trust Christ alone. These false teachers are focused on their physical flesh to save them or maintain salvation or otherwise lose salvation due to what their flesh does. They completely disregard the fact that your spirit is what is saved and born of God and your flesh is not saved for eternal life. They read Romans 7 and don't understand the two natures.
    1 John 5
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

This issue goes away if these people understood right division, i.e. who is being spoken to. James is written to the 12 tribes scattered abroad, JEWS, NOT to members of the body of Christ. Paul is our apostle not Peter nor any of the other 11 Jewish apostles. John the Baptist's, Jesus', Peter's and the other 11 apostles teaching is FOR us. We can learn from them just like we can learn from history. Only Paul was given the doctrines for today in the dispensation of the grace of God.

The 9th chapter is talking about winning others for Christ. 2 Peter 2 the whole chapter is about false teachers. They may have had an experience, but not necessarily real conversion. Excellent clarification, Bob .
It all comes down to Knowability . It's gotta make sense , for it to be true . That's the definition of Objective truth , that alone renders all Unknowability as impossible to sustain .
All subjectivity is thus impossible to sustain as a metric for entrance into His Kingdom .
One's purely fallible and entirely Unknowable level of hopefully good enough behavioral performance (works) till death never rises to the level of assurance . It Tops Out at Doubt ; the antithesis of faith .
Only belief in Him for what He actually certifies (John 1:12-13,3:1-18,4:10-14,5:24,6:28-47,1⁰,11:23-27,20:31) regenerates forever .
Not one passage in Scripture contradicts His doubtless Guarantee .
    Not one passage states :
"Whosoever repents (turns from an Unknowable level of sins till death) and kinda?...sorta??...almost always???...completely????...walks in righteousness till death shall be rewarded with entrance into His Kingdom".
    Nor :
"Whosoever that doesn't repent (turns from some?...most??...All???...sins till death) shall go to the endless lake of fire".
Yet , to exegetically prove any works righteousness soteriology , one must Necessarily produce the above-mentioned .
Verifiably - thus Objectively - there exists no such passages .
Therefore , the affirmation that one's behavioral performance (works) till death determines one's Everlasting destination is Necessarily untrue .
Ephesians 2:8-9 ; Romans 3:20-5:11,11:6,29 ; Titus 3:5 ; Phillipians 3:9 ; and the book of Galatians remain the insurmountable barrier to any such attempts to "come in some other way" than faith alone In Christ alone FOR His doubtless Promise of endless Life (John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:8-9) .

      Acts1:1-8
Says this teaching is for all,you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.
      Luke 24:44-47
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, And REPENTANCE FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS will be preached in His name to ALL NATIONS Starting in Jerusalem.
      Jesus said:
      Matthew 16:18
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Jesus again reaffirms Peter to start the church in John 21:17
The third time he said to him, Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things: you know that I love you."
      "Feed my sheep.
Acts 2 is the day of pentecost which is the start of the church.
This was the first time in church where some asked how to be saved.
37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles,(Including John)“Brothers, what shall we do?
38Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off. (meaning gentiles) for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
      Peter again includes Gentiles.
      Acts 11:18
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying,
So then, even to Gentiles, God has granted REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO LIFE".
      Acts 17:30
In the past God overlooked such ignorance but now COMMANDETH ALL PEOPLE EVERY WHERE TO REPENT.
      [Including Gentiles]
      Acts 20:21
I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they MUST TURN TO GOD IN REPENTANCE AND HAVE FAITH in our Lord Jesus.
      Acts 22:16
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on the name of the Lord.
Paul recounts his encounter with Jesus.
      Acts 26:18-20
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, SO THAT THEY MAY RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS and a place among those who are SANCTIFIED BY FAITH IN ME.’
19“So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.
20First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should REPENT AND TURN TO GOD (believe) and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds/works/lifestyle.
Paul again on repentance leading to salvation.
      2 Corinthians 7:9-10
Yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because YOUR SORROW LED YOU TO REPENTANCE. For YOU BECAME SORROWFUL as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10GODLY SORROW BRINGS REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO SALVATION and leaves no regret, but worldly SORROW BRINGS DEATH.

Once saved always saved! If we were able to 'lose' our salvation then we were never saved in the first place. It is the grace and mercy of God, provided through the cucifixion of Jesus Christ on the cross, that gives salvation. We are expected to live as Jesus has instructed but we may well sin at times. If you sinned and lost your salvation then the salvation was no longer about Jesus and the Cross but about your works and no works can save a man. Now in consideration of Galatians 5.25, notice Paul's obviously been informed there were carnal believers (cf. 3.3 - 'Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh') in this church who were not walking in the Spirit (vv.1-24 cf. 4.20 'for I have doubts about you.'). But did you happen to notice what he didn't say or write herein?? In other words, did he say they were 'not living in the Spirit'?? Not a word, why because he's mentioned (twice) they're issue was they were 'not' walking in the Spirit, cf., 5.16, 'I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
On the otherhand, in 5.18, '...if you are led by the Spirit..', then it would be evident in and from them (cf. 5.22-23) such as 'love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. In other words, they would be walking in the Spirit so these terms to 'live' and/or 'walk', could never have been synonomous or mean the same thing. Otherwise, why employ such words to express the same thing, and no less in the same line?? It'd be ridculous, no less circular, and redundant, right??
If these two words (walk and live) are synonymns then why would Paul have needed to write them?? Othewise these carnal Galatian believers were already walking in the Spirit.
Again, if 'walk' means also 'live'.
But my point to live here is in the sense of having already eternal life hence the Holy Spirit is in them already;-
1 Cor 3:16 "the Spirit of God dwells in you",
1 Cor 6:19 "the Holy Spirit who is in you",
Galatians 4:6 "And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”.
But Paul's main point in these, including the entire chapter of Galatians 5, and really the letters entirety, was and still is, all about sanctification i.e., a believer's temporal life/livin - see Galatians. 4.19, 'Christ is formed in you' (cf. Galatians 1.15-16, 1.20; 2.14-21; 3.3a).
Certainlu not how to maintain eternal life or eternal salvation, or to earn it, which neither are ever once hinted at or implied in the letter nor anywhere else.
So to reiterate - an important take away is Paul's implied these carnal Galatian believers were already all once eternally saved (cf. Gal 2.17-21, 3.3, 26-29; 4.1-6) or 'born from above' (i.e. John 3.3-8), and thus were at that time all still 100% guaranteed to ENTER/SEE the Kingdom of God!!

I think you have misinterpreted the meaning of this part of his letter. Paul clearly says, walk (live daily) in the spirit and you will not fullfill the lust of the flesh (then he name them) and then he warns them (again) by saying if you live this way, you will not inherit the kingdom of God !!
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Just let the scripture mean what it says.

INHERITING THE KINGDOM OF GOD CANNOT BE REFERRING TO INHERITING ETERNAL LIFE BECAUSE FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD:
      biblestudymanuals.net/inherit.htm
      i) (Gal 5:19-21) The Phrase Rendered "Those Who Live Like This Will Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God," Is A Warning To Believers, Secure In Their Salvation From Hell Unto Eternal Life, To Not Be Unfaithful Because If They Are They Will Not Inherit The Kingdom Of God -
In The Sense Of Not Becoming Co-Owners And Co-Rulers Of The Kingdom Of God With Jesus Christ. Individuals who were never saved in the first place are not In View who will not Inherit The Kingdom Of God, as some contend. Certainly believers Can Behave Dispicably and will disqualify themselves from their Heavenly Inheritance. And neither Is The Loss Of Salvation From Hell Unto Eternal Life. In View As Corroborated By Earlier Passages In Galatians And Numerous Other Passages.
(Gal 5:21 NASB) "[envyings, drunkennesses, carousings], and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God." =
Since passages in Galatians, Paul's other epistles and elsewhere in Scripture teach that eternal life - the salvation from hell unto eternal life - is secure within the believer, ; then the loss of salvation from hell unto eternal life is not scriptural and cannot be in view in Gal 5:19-21:
ii_a) (Gal 5:13b) Believers Secure In Their Salvation Can And Do Commit Sins All The Time Even To The Point Of Disqualifying Themselves From Receiving All Or Part Of Their Heavenly Inheritances
(Gal 5:13b NASB) "For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another" =
So it is possible for genuine believers secure in their salvation , as born again children of God by a moment of faith alone in Christ alone, (Jn 1:12-13 ) who cannot be unchilded , to walk in the flesh and even practice the egregious sins mentioned in the vice list, (cf. Gal 5:16, 17, 21, 25 and 26), without losing their salvation.
The context of Galatians chapter 5 and the rest of Scripture explicitly reject the false doctrine of the required perseverance of the saints in order to demonstrate that one is saved unto eternal life . Rather than affirming that all true believers will walk in the Spirit, Paul commands the believers at the churches of Galatia to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Such an admonition would be misplaced if addressed to an unbeliever since it is impossible for those devoid of the Holy Spirit to walk in the Spirit.

    • @oetamsoetams6827

My point was these believers were eternally saved already. Now if your thinking they need to live daily or walk moment by moment in the Spirit (i.e. demonstrates love, joy, peace, self-control) in order to maintain eternal life (or they'll lose it) or to keep the Holy Spirit in them (or He'll leave permanently) then that's a false teaching.
Also, another point is that you have not explained what the warning "shall not inherit the Kingdom of God"' is or is comprised of??
If it means to never enter or see the Kingdom', as the Lord say's in John 3:2-8, that is, if a person is never born from above (made born again by God at and by a moment of belief alone in Jesus Christ alone) in their lifetimes then that's a false teaching as well.
Why?? Well, in lieu of these believers in Galatia, Paul has already proven otherwise. At least from the earlier contexts he had written them in Galatians 4:1-6,
4.1 Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all,
4.2 but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.
4.3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.
4.4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
4.5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
4.6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
4.7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
      ....................................................................
Now notice from this the context i.e., Galatians 4.4-5, 8-31, Paul's audience are Jewish believers who have appeared to have returned to observing and practicing the Law (see also Galatians 5.1-3).
4.4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born [under the law],
4.5 to redeem those who were [under the law], that we might receive the adoption as sons.
      .........................................................................
But Paul's said they are now sons.
4.6 ".....God sent forth the Spirit of His Son (Holy Spirit) into your (believers) hearts.."
4.7 "YOU ARE NO LONGER A SLAVE BUT A SON...AN HEIR OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST."
      .......................................................................
"A SON...AN HEIR OF GOD", it doesn't get any clearer than that.
And notice there are no conditions or to-do's to maintain that sonship or to being a child of God or to be one whose already eternally saved???
Now of course if you think Paul's reminding them here that they're already saved (God's children) and is thus merely warning them to stop observing the Law (circumcision, sabbath keeping, etc.) because they're thinking they need to do it in order to inherit the Kingdom of God (i.e., Millenial co-reign with Christ and other perks) then that's scripturally sound. At least in view of Galatians 5:1-21; 2 Tim 2:1-13 et al.
A recommended commentary of Galatians 5, See biblestudymanuals.net/gal5v26.htm

A true repentant believer wouldn't want to live a life that contradicts God's character.
If our lifestyle contradicts God's character, then claiming to be a Christian is a lie. Not talking about unscriptual sinless perfection.
Even a very mature Christian is susceptible to sin. Someone that has truly been born again will be sensitive to sin and they will be led to repentance and confession to that sin.
      1 John 1:8-10
IF we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 IF we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 IF we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Unfortunately, your explanations are very weak and though I am on the fence as to whether Scripture teaches once saved always saved, I can tell you that your argument was not convincing and sounded more like excuses for the particular theology you hold to. I always go back to the verse in Revelation that tells us that Christ Himself will vomit out the “lukewarm”. No matter how you spin or twist that verse, in order to vomit or spit something out it has to be in you and therefore it can only be talking about Christians/believers. This can only mean that however it works and however we try to understand or explain it some people who were once in Him won’t make it through the gates of Heaven. I guess ultimately do we really know what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is? Since Scripture is clear that that is an unforgivable sin, we might want to reevaluate our once saved only saved stance. What if blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is simply continuing to live our lives “as best we can” after we have accepted Christ and received Him??? What if “ignoring” the Holy Spirit’s guidance in our lives IS exactly what was meant by blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? I guess that is a question and argument that the church has been trying to figure out since its inception and none of us will really know until we stand before our Father…

He was the son of perdition. A lot of people get tangled up in the word saved, which means salvation, which is to all men who will let him come John 3:16 basically anyone who would choose to love Christ, but remember many are called, but you are the chosen Romans chapter 8 deals with predestination. These chosen ones do have salvation, but they’re on another level, which is called redemption to them. These are sons of God, not everyone is a son of God. Then, rather than just pitching the vase in the trash, the potter would sit this beautiful vase on the shelf for sale only as an ornament type vase. Now the term "a castaway" was too good to throw away, but it was no longer of any workable use. Now this is what Paul is talking about. You can't lose your Salvation if you ever had it, but oh that we might work and maintain our testimony so that we won't be put on the shelf as no longer usable, even though we may have all the outward appearance of being believers, but that we might also be functional. That we can do that which The Lord saved us to do.

this to me is foolishness because quite frankly the lambs book of life has everyone that the Lord wants saved will be saved and this was written before the foundations of the world were ever thrown into existence. only God can save you if you are the elect. so if you are the elect then you will never loose your salvation because it was given to you before you were ever born. again then this foolishness to even be talking about this.

@@GESvidsno i do not adhere to double predestination. we are all on our way to hell because of our sin nature. so only God and God alone gives the gift of eternal life to whom he wants to. these people were already elected before God created the universe or this physical dimension. So yes he did predetermined some for heaven and let everyone else go on there merry way to hell. God says I will have mercy on whom i will have mercy talking about salvation.

      1 Timothy 2:3-4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
      Revelation 3:5
      He who overcomes
shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
Only those who reject repentance and those who don't contine in the Faith until the very end will be blotted out of the book of life.

The devil made Eve question God's word too. Adding a question mark to a sound doctrine of eternal salvation comes from the same spirit Eve encountered with the serpent. "Yea, hath God said?" Question mark. In other words, Did God really say you have eternal security????????

You have obviously never read Acts.
Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God died on the cross was buried and rose again for our sins?
      Acts 2:31-32.
Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things: you know that I love you."

Is the Apostle Paul in Acts an imposter ?
Is Paul in Acts not the same one in his epistles?
All of Paul's epistles are written for believers.

He saves him this contacts it talking about physical data, not eternal death so when I look at this man with the black beard, I see that he can’t understand the word of God he does not know how to understand simplicity what do you think he has a platform how did he get a platform when he doesn’t even understand simplicity
