Tyler, first thing is if your going to swing your leg over the seat you should always be wearing all your gear. When you don’t that’s when things go bad in a hurry. Seconded they need to learn how to use hand signals for the trails for oncoming riders to let them know how many more are behind you. Also for track riders, please signal when your pulling off so we don’t just plow you from behind. Those are my only two gripes for beginners. Keep up the good work!

I have a 97 RT 100 and I recommend it as a beginner bike. If you do some research it's actually a great bike and mine runs like a dream. I started it cold yesterday and it fired up first kick.
Hey @tylermonagan another reason why the 125 might be bogging is when you are finished riding it and putting it away, turn the fuel off and lean it over on its side so all the fuel left in the carb drains out💪🏻💪🏻
I recently just got into dirt bikes and atm I have a Kawasaki 125 2 stroke. Iv'e been riding and everything is fine but I want to learn about the important parts of a bike and what certain parts do and what parts to replace and look out for. If there is any chance of explaining any of this it would help a lot thank you.
Prototype same
Prototype well some basics would just be always make sure your your chain is lubes and your air filter is clean. Try and tighten your chain when needed. Also look out for your sprockets. There are teeth that drive them, well when they get skinned and start to bent the way the chain is going its time for a new chain and sprocket kit
Prototype as you brake parts (levers, etc) you’ll learn more about certain parts by replacing or fixing. When I first got my bike I had no clue, but over time you’ll learn more and more.
Go watch a video on basic maintenance and upkeep, there’s 100’s out there. I wouldn’t trust what this guy has to say, he throws a lot of money at stuff you don’t need and comes off as a very armature mechanic at best. I would of said he was more of a beginner in all honesty, only been at it a handful of years really. Highsided films seem to know how to build and take great care of their bikes, go give them a watch.

i started on kawasaki kx65
Im trying to get into rading. Ive never rode a dirt bike. I want to get a Yamaha yz125or a ktm 125 but it is way to much money. I look for bikes everyday. Ive also thought about atv racing i really dont care which one i do i just want to do it cause its in my blood. Your tips we're really helpful. Hopefully i can find a bike.

The boots will also save your shine because at some point your foot if going to slip off the kicker and hit the nice and sharp peg.
I think you should put a graphic kit on all the bike like you did the 250 they would look dope
One thing that is a MUST is protection for knees, if you crash and really mess up your knees, you might be in a wheelchair for the rest of your life.. If i arrive to the track without my knee protection with me, i would pack my things and leave.

To preserve those graphics get a piece of card board rap it with packing take(like the clear packing tape nothing else) and peel it off the bike and slap it on there👍

Hey! I’m currently on a 2006 ttr 125, and it’s to the point now where it’s almost too small (mainly in power) and I’m looking to get a larger bike (possibly a 230). Parents definitely don’t have the money for another bike. Do you recommend still riding the 125 and sticking with it or selling it and working a little while for a new one? I’ve put lots of money into the bike (new rim, graphics, plastics, bars) and the front is missing a couple spokes.

My dad won’t buy a pressure washer and won’t let me buy one so I just have the hose coming off the house wich sucks cuz it has no pressure pretty much so every time I wash my yz250 I have to fill up s bucket and put a little dish soap in there and scrub the bike lol then spray it off then spray some simple green on it then take care of the pipe then hose it off then put it away lol it’s annoying. INVEST IN A PRESSURE WASHER

I think buying a bike brand new for a first bike isn't really necessary, starting on a smaller less powerful bike is good for learning the clutch, shifting, throttle, ect.

I haven’t rode before but looking to get into it say your in third gear do you have to go down to second then first then neutral or second then first then back up to neutral
NeonGaming neutral is a half click down from second half up from first. So a full down from 3rd into second than a little down into neutral.
