I am born and raised in Southern California. Moved to small rural town in Tennessee 4 months ago. There is only 1 sushi restaurant here, it is excellent. My daughter and I go weekly. We miss Southern California and are moving back this month January 2024. Cannot wait to go back to California, beautiful beaches, coastline, great selection of restaurants. Never been to NOBU, but definitely want to experience it at least once when we move back. Maybe for a special occasion in the future. It is expensive, been watching videos about NOBU. Sushi and sashimi are my favorite foods. Blessings 🙏
I just came from the Nobu at the One and Only in Cape Town and had the Omesake menu. The food was absolutely out of this world. I'm mindblown
I duno about there..I was talking about london butty worker there all on coke and dick hunters...mangers stealing cash tips to buy cocaine for the week end outs.....all cock suckers management and some floor staff....I worked there forb3 yrs...I punched one of them butties and got fired....

Excellent food went to Nobu at Caesars palace in Vegas would recommend once only bill came out to be 1000 for 4 people lol
Went to nobu 57 in nyc this summer, bill was 2,500, definitely a restaurant you go to taste at, not to be filled up.
We went to nobu dubai. You’re right super good food but the portion sizes are made for a 3 year old child

@@Kayla-kd8ov white fish tiradito and black cod miso are both a MUST MUST MUST. Ive had an appetizer with cavier and a couple rolls when I was last there. Everything was so good.

I tried the Nobu in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Excellent food, totally overpriced (but still excellent quality), snobby restaurant employees at Malibu Nobu (most of them probably live in the valley!), it was worth going ONCE, never again. Spent $400.00 for two for lunch, left hungry! After Nobu we went to In-N-Out Calabasas!
We went last week and for two it turned out to be 130$. We werent completely full, but it was enough and the food was excellent.
Went out with my family of 4 in midtown, bill came to 495. Having eaten at various sushi restaurants across the world, I can safely say that no by is the best restaurant in terms of overall variety, flavor and distinction in the world. Prices are a bit questionable, but u can’t do anything about it

I feel like after a certain point, you buy or do things simply because you've been blessed to be fortunate enough to do so, just cause it really expensive doesnt mean it's better. That's just my take on the situation. I'm not sure what your trying to get at or what your intentions are. But you have a nice day, and a nice labor day weekend.
I guess we will agree to disagree. I eat at Nobu about 4 times a month. Not one time have I ever thought…hey look at me! I’m eating at Nobu because it’s a status symbol. I mean are you freaking serious? I eat at Nobu because they consistently serve great food and have an eclectic menu. Status symbol? Really?

That's a western interpretation of sushi and Japanese cuisine. It' s far from the authentic Japanese style, preparation and presentation of sushi!
Nobu is mostly a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine.

This place sucks, don’t try it. It’s Asian fusion and most of the menu taste similar to each other so you won’t get any variety. You’ll be spending a lot and in the end you’ll leave hungry because of how little the portion are. You’ll have more bang for your buck at a steak house.
What if I don't want more bang for my buck? What if I want to spend more to experience something I can't get a steakhouse?
