  • Just got the New Veto Pro Pac MP2X which replaces their MP2.
    In this video I show you the differences between my existing MP1 and the MP2X. I also put the tools from my MP1 into the MP2X so you can see the space leftover to help you make the decision which size you need.
    Here are links to the MP1X and the MP2X. I only recommend you purchase directly from Veto for warranty purposes, but you may find them somewhere else. These are not affiliate links

      @MORGANSMaintenance  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I use my MP1 almost every day… I will use this one probably less, but it will also be the backup for if my snap does kick the bucket one day… since I probably won’t be able to get either when I need one. They are always sold out.
      I also will probably go with this one when I use a impact since it will weight more on f the clip is better. Maybe prolong the life of my MP1 snap..

    That looks like a really nice pouch. Use the Toughbuilt pouches myself and love those. Mainly due to the easy clip on clip off feature they have. But these veto pouches look very sturdy and have a nice layout of pockets. Don’t think you can go to wrong with either of those brands.

      I came real close to getting into the ToughBuilt, but I started getting my Veto bags right before my Local Lowes started really carrying them in store to see in person.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance for me they are perfect. My day changes so being able to clip on an other pouch or swap them out with one single click is really good. But I have one I just always. The electrician pouch. That’s my go to every day load out pouch. But it’s nice to be able to ad a drill pouch or a bigger fasteners pouch on my other hip. But at that point I’ll put them on my toughbuilt belt with suspenders and wear it as a actual tool belt. But that don’t happen often. Mostly if I’m running a bunch of conduite or something like that. To my it’s like Packout for on my person very easy to modify the setup and layout lol.

      @@MORGANSMaintenance what are your overall thoughts on the clip for longevity vs the Joey pouch?

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@Jesus_Strong the clip on this MP2X seems pretty stout. Time will only tell. It’s mounted to the pouch with fasteners somehow, so those could fail, but I doubt it. They are smaller pouches so hard to overload.
      First impression, it’s clip is a little more substantial than the Joey Pouch Clips and I haven’t had any issues with the older plastic, or newer metal ones on those either. I do like the newer Joey Pro bag better than the original so far… mainly for the bag, not the clip

    I use my mp1 wirh the pocket tongue in my front pocket and the button belt strap on at the same time. Its extra stable doesn't move a bit.
    Wondering if you can also do this with the clip/pocket tongue on the mp2x or the size doesnt match up.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  Před 7 měsíci +1

      It probably matters what pants you are wearing…
      But the MP1 is 4-1/2” from what would be the top of your belt to the two rivets at the top of the pocket tongue …. The MP2x is 3” difference. The the tongue may or may not make it as far into your pocket as the MP1.
      Hope that makes sense.

      For Veto on the shelves. I HATE metal belt clips: I snag them on everything, and they bend, and then they're never going back to original. And if it happens after 5 years, I'm out of luck. My MP2 belt loop snap gave up the ghost, but I sewed the flap shut and it's better than new. But the Mp2 is a bit big for some jobs. I was looking at an MP1 but not if it has a metal clip.
