I've noticed that orangish wrapper for Patience in her movies
not really, just like in America, some men are "mommas boy", so they will virtually allow anything the mom says to happen. plus thats their mother and some don't want to disrespect her. There are a select few who actually stand up to the mother. But in African culture, we don't "physically remove" mother in laws. That is an abomination. We have to respect them still.

Too bad both ladies and babies did not make it, it would have been a much more complicated situation for the King and the Queen mother-in-law to clarify. Our African tradition is,children regardless of age,we got to listen n not talk back at the elders...THE GOOD MORALS OF OUR PEOPLE...Then the inlaws manipulate the respect they have earned thru our traditon n misuse it...just like this mother in law....Iam very proud to be an AFRICAN..SON OF THE SOIL,but this is wrong,to maltreat daughter in law n take her son s kindness for foolishness...
the mistake some men make is throwing away their family all because they marry,although i know there are likes of patience every where,but the attitude of some men are nothing to write home about after marriage.
His mother is very ungrateful, but her action towards the other inlaw was harsh but right, If you listen to some of the things she said to her, its not wrong, Patient told the girl mother to visit once in a while and not live there, plus she need to go home to her husband, she also said that not because her daughter is married to her son, this doesn't mean that she aswel is married to her son, she is too involve in her daughter life and marriage and need to go back to the village.

hey dude that is too much disrespect for him to throw his mother out that is not African at all and greatly disliked that part of the movie seriously imagine him telling his drivers to lay hands on his mother... i cant believe the director could allow that. that is very traumatic! Maybe its just me cos my mom is late and i hate when i see such treatment to women especially mother! nobody does that! it doesnt make no sense
