    Back about 60 years ago driving through creek crossings in a VW Beetle we helped each other, 3 blokes on the front and 3 on the back to add weight so the car didn't get washed away. It was probably about knee high. Until we came to a big one so deep even the 18 wheelers stopped. We waited overnight for it to go down

    where is the air intake in the subaru crosstrek?

      We must check it inside the Engine to know where it is.
      Making sure the water does not get in

    I have a 2016 Honda Pilot touring and I went thru deep water under a overpass. It was pretty deep water got in my pilot and ruined the carpets.

      @@Honestandtruth Surprisingly yes but when I brought it to the honda dealer they told me it could have voided the extended warranty I have

    Wrong, wrong wrong, the correct approach is to barrel in at twice the speed of sound, with zero regard or mechanical sympathy, and hope for the best. Any other approach is to be held in scorn by all us hard men.
