I have just found your page and WOW; finally someone that can explain narration is an easy to understand language. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, we truly appreciate your insight. AWESOME VIDEO!

As the publishers of CM-inspired curriculum for almost 30 years, we're always excited to see how others use the CM methods in their own homeschools. Thanks for sharing with us!
This is the best explanation of narration I found. This video came up on my feed without searching but it was exactly what I needed!! Thank you!
My work requires me to interpret technical information to higher level more easy to understand summaries for supervisors that need info that is short, direct, and recommendation/discussion time. As you likely already know, this is a skill that is very relevant and applicable to real life and for me imperative to being able to understand material. Maybe doing an interpretation narration from different characters perspectives may also prove to be quite helpful in overall analysis of the story.
Thank you for sharing this video. This made a lot of sense 😊

+FutureFaithFreedom Homeschool You are welcome! Thanks for watching. :)
Well done! Thanks so much! How often do you narrate through the week?
I try to have them narrate something daily. Sometimes it's very laid back and casual, sometimes it's a project-based narration (think illustrating a favorite scene or acting it out), and for my older children it is often written.
I'm really looking forward to using the narration cards! What a creative/clever way for kids to engage in retelling a story. On a side note, I had a quick question about your Jan Brett Unit Study...do you think it could be tailored for older kids who love Jan Brett like a 9 and 11 yo (eek!)?
Thank you! Yes, I think a 9 and 11 year old could use the Jan Brett unit! I'm considering doing it this winter with my 11 year old, just because I miss reading picture books with her. Especially if they are Jan Brett fans! Go for it!
*pencil topper intro* SOLD.

Okay, by your reasoning even my 10yr old isn't old enough... ADHD like whoa LOL
I couldn't understand what she said.
+MyCrazyFamily Sorry, she has some speech issues - I should remember to add captions when she talks on camera.
"A little kid crab walks sideways," is the first part. Not too sure about the rest, but I think it sounds something like, "The mother never can teach him."
