Security cameras and motion sensors installed in a movie room is a bit extreme. 🙄 If a thief ever breaks into your home, the LAST THING he’s going to give a crap about is your movies! Lmao. He’s wanting cash, jewels, etc. Come on, dude…

I love Scream Factory/Shout Select. My favorite boutique label. You got a nice collection to be sure. Mt collection is half yours but I'm a grown up now so I try to not to be jealous over things like size (lol) any more... and just enjoy the collecting and watching movies.
Oh and Armageddon is fun as F! It's why we watch movies. Its fantasy at its finest. To hell with reality; it's Hollywood!

My goodness that is an amazing movie room!
That Rocky statue is so cool. Rocky (1976) is my all time favorite film and the Rocky/Creed series is my favorite film franchise with the Lord of the Rings as a close second. I really hope the Rocky films get a 4K release.

Wow, this was an awesome watch. The thing I appreciate the most about this (aside from the full run of Scream Factory Collector’s Editions with the slips 🤯) is that you threw in some football with the movie memorabilia collection. I have been trying to figure out a balance between by movie memorabilia and football memorabilia and this provided some good inspiration!

You need to get the clear plastic covers man. Especially for the steel books. You can get like a few hundred for around 30 bucks

Ok I feel super late here, but holy hell man this is a really really awesome room. I completely agree that a room tour can give you a view into the person and this video makes me click that notification bell because I love your taste. I especially love your poster tastes. I am a huge fan of posters and screenprints and that’s a major hobby of mine. May I ask are your posters reprints or original one sheets? And if they are reprints are the 24x36 or 27x40/27x41? Great room tour.

@@PopsMovieDungeon Reprints are cool too so all good. Since you have so many 24x36 frames do you know much about screenprint posters from companies like Mondo, Bottleneck Gallery, and others…? You can get some fantastic film posters from places like that and the screenprint is actual paint on paper so you can get so many intricate details you can’t get in a jet ink poster. Even keeping with original artwork there is some crazy awesome stuff. I have Nightmare on Elm Street screenprints some by Matthew Peak the son of Bob Peak the original artist for the one sheets…it’s incredible how good they look. Look at me rambling here lol…I love movie posters though.

I’m not a fan of slipcovers at all. All they do is add an extra layer of price inflation and overall stress to what should be an enjoying hobby - WATCHING films!
In regards to 4K’s…. I have a few, but I’m convinced that format is never really going to take off before the physical media hobby disappears altogether. Plus, not every 4K is worth the upgrade. No two transfers are ever the same. I’m just sticking to blu ray. I think 1080p looks good enough, in many instances.
All valid points. True some of the 4Ks disappoint. But, for the most part I have been happy with the upgrades. 4Ks will be around until physical media dies all together in my opinion, yeah still only like 6% of PM sales last time I looked anyway. But, feel that most new releases come with a 4K option and older titles are getting added everyday. Definitely agree with the added cost. But if it took away from my enjoyment of watching the films I wouldn’t get them. Just a personal preference.
Your home cinema set up is beautiful mate. What model is the TV and did you choose it over a projector?
Went back and forth on getting a tv or a projector. It came down to cost. Most projectors that had a picture to match this tv was out of my price range I got the 2019 Samsung Q60R. does not have EArc which sucks I can get Dolby Atmos from streaming services but when I play a disk it does not play in Atmos without that EArc connection. So my next tv will have that. Still sounds great, but would like to have it
Great tv. My brother in law has a Q85R, the Samsung units look amazing.

Thank you for watching! Those are just cheap Walmart shelves, but they worked well. Room looks totally different now. Check out some of my newer videos. Still have to build some more shelves. I will do an updated room tour soon

Just some theater seats I found at a local furniture store. They are not Lazy Boys. I don't remember the brand, but they are pretty comfortable

Sorry, haven't been around for awhile, but I've been thinking, its moot really, but as far as marketing goes, the movie companies are screwing up big time, a movie should first play at a Theater, then come out on physical media, then come out on streaming, and maybe it was this whole cvid thing that screwed things up, but streaming is the last proper marketing, physical media rocks!, streaming is like watching physical media after 25 beer
