Really nice job! Super valuable info, THANK YOU! I really enjoy trying different/mod weapon combos to get MAX DMG. I always thought dmg perks were only specific to the skill tree being currently used.
If you are really interested in the breakdown you should look up "borderlands 3 damage formula". There is essentially no way to know which interactions are good (multiplicative) and which are bad (additive) without tons of trial and error. Thankfully, the community has already done this and figured out a closed-form formula and the types for different weapons and skills.

Honestly, one shotting the Seer like that was freaking nasty
If you spec 2 points into Conflux you can get 25 stacks of Mindfulness regularly. You will need some passive heal/lifesteal to counteract it though, because the Conflux dot is pretty strong compared to the Driver dot.
And the THUMP THUMP sounds is annoying but if you are down that far in red tree should just get sustainment

Amara's my favorite and I've been having fun with Body and Mind synergies, but seeing build after build fall for Amara due to nerfs while Moze, Zane, and Fl4k are having a rave next door has been quite a trip this last year. lol.
I'll hop on this before it gets hit by the Gearbox nerf bat too.
Funny cause im not sad this was found out now, it existed WHILE others had thier "rave".

I swear there are no good developers for AAA games these days. They all like to screw their player base over. A lot of people need to be fired. I too love Amara. It's a shame they are doing this and it's a matter of time till she becomes unusable.
Legit question, is the melee you do after a slide some special effect for the build, a speed strat or you just do that cuz because?

Try the hellzerker Amara build from lazydata! The channel RestAssured has a similar build to that that I like better. It’s one of my favorite builds ever.

Moxsy has a Shatter Siren(my fav) Underworld Amara, Kaos Queen, Slam Witch. Theres plenty out there

Interestingly different from Lazy's, which uses a purple COM to get Transcend to 6/3, and then a Crit to melt stuff.

I love your builds Moxsy but I feel like it’s so hard to farm for all the gear you need solo especially on console. It seems like many of your builds will only work with top tier gear with god rolls on them. I appreciate your craft and the work you put into your builds, they are always fun to watch and you are great at the game.
Everything is much easier on PC with laser aim mouse vs us console players.
Im on console and im not having trouble. Friend, the issue is not having the time of day cause its far too time consuming and thats an overall borderlands problem
I mean, you only need god rolls for like OPTIMAL damage. I usually don’t have a problem if I farm with an efficient route but then again it’s all rng
I mean yea that's kinda just how end game borderlands is man. Especially if you want to one shot a boss. You wanna do something that crazy you're gonna have to min/max to hell and back.
His full Melee Amara build from way back still works if you’re struggling with gear. You only need a couple pieces, probably easier to put together now with the annointment re-roll machine

Moxsy I'm anxious to play the game demo of the new borderlands game, when that demo becomes available next yr/022 yet the final game itself which will release on 03/24/022 etc.
Recently picked up B3 and am having trouble gearing up my Amara. I made it to lv72 a couple days ago and am not sure if I should stay in NM or go TVHM. As far as mayhem levels go I had some random gift me M10 weapons but when I take them to M10 it takes so damn long to kill mobs let alone bosses.
Does ANYONE have advice to help break through this wall and know her true power?
Yo dude. Im just amaze with this build but when i tested it i could only do 611 million damage on graveward lvl 72 mayhem 11. How come u can deal 50 bill.? Is there a secret? Lol

You honestly don't need god rolls just try to get as close as possible with the passives. If you're on PC tho that's not a problem
It takes him 5 minutes to open his discord and trade for them or even less if he uses a save editor

This build reminds me of that build using ion laser to buff phasecast to 1 shot... which gives me an idea.
Is it possible to mix that build with this one to buff phasecast?
Obviously not both builds completely but having key dmg components of both?
Which will make phasecast 1 shot harder than any rocket launcher based on what i remember from that video.
Theoretically that kind of dmg would be higher than in this video, especially on the dps front since you can cast faster than shooting that rocket with its charge... all you have to do is have a strong weapon in your hands potentially making it also a mobbing build as well.

Absolutely not, in any way, unfortunately. The skill tree necessary to get the Burn Both Ends skill is DLC exclusive and if I remember correctly Mayhem 4 difficulty and above are DLC exclusive as well (don't quote me on that part), and as such you cannot even get the class mod because it only drops on Mayhem level 4 or higher.

You can get to the end using Zane, Clone, and a lot of speed. Amara's Downfall works as well. This probably won't be fixed until the next patch.

Survivability is a huge issue for this build. Also can we talk about the level 1 shield you have? How?
he mentioned in one of his videos that you have to get the desired shield into the lost loot box or whatever it's called. and to retrieve the shield at level 1 you must join the game with a level 1 character and claim the lost loot.

Probably. If you can find a way to reach the same speed without sliding. You need max speed to get the full damage bonus from the driver.
you probably can, but you're giving movement speed, that goes into the driver com's bonus, and a 100% damage amp shot which I believe is calculated last in the formula so it probably doubles the driver com damage bonus, so needless to say I'm not optimistic but it'd say it's possible seeing as how much he's overkilling the bosses by, just don't try Seer or 30 bil hp graveward

More like zane got love for the longest and remember this build could have been possible as soon as amara got the purple tree... same with zane when hes op after purple tree.

I thought Laid Bare was a debuff, but you said it was v2. Which is it, because I know new information can come to light (like Burn Both Ends being +Element% instead of v1/v2)
He said it is V2 debuff so I believe it means it works for all the damage sources, like the text says, and he just highlighted it
They call it a "debuff" because it APPLIES more damage. It's like saying the piss nade debuffs the enemy by 20% which in turn gives you 20% more damage. Laid Bare is a damage increase. Just wordplay
the only thing you need to know about Laid Bare is that it's the only debuff (minus the It's Piss if you choose to use it) so it'll multiplicatively increase your final output damage by 25% no matter what buffs you have from skills/com/artifact. Laid Bare will always increase your damage by 25%, where as something like +25% Gun Damage will be a relatively small increase because of how many + Gun Damage skills exist and because they are all addative, same reason + Crit Damage is good, it's one of the last things to multiply in, so you'll see 100% of the bonus rather than another +25% gun damage when you already have 640% from sliding you only go up to 665%, which is only a 3.91% increase to overall gun damage.
TL;DR - Debuffs are multiplicative with final damage output so just consider all damage dealt to enemies debuffed by Laid Bare increased by 25% of what would have hit them without the debuff, and multiple applications of Laid Bare do not stack

Take point out of purple and put them into red for Sustainment. Actually works pretty well

Tried it on the buffed up traunt, and while it's doing okay damage I hadn't hit the crit, so like you said no one shots. Like 50 millions or so.

I wasn't hitting the crit on him though, and moxsy said for the one shots hit the crit. Which lead to my question, how important is the crit?
Using a revoter with the ASA (does this need ASE instead of ASA if I have a ASE grenade?)

Spiritual driver with 3 in mindfulness (he said that was the big thing, the passives didn't matter much)
So I'm using the gear he said, only thing I'm missing is a really good spiritual driver.
I went to graveward, PC twice, slide and would shoot his hand just like moxsy in the vid and it only takes about 70% of his health. That's a normal graveward, not a 30 billion health one. If I just hit him and no crit, it does hardly anything. Not even into to his first "down" phase.
So either my shots are bad (idk how, I'm hitting his hand crit)
Or I'm missing something here.
Also tried Seer. Granted, I don't even know where his crit is. But I'd get to max speed after casting a couple times, then slide and shoot him. Not much happens. I could do as much damage with two burst from my plasma coil.
So idfk where I went wrong here, but I'm not getting that fat damage.
Open to help if anyone can.
@@SubBubz probably important since you havnt even seen 1 billion. He does have specific rolls. To see a one shot kill is very different than seeing 50 billion dmg, those are 2 separate things because varying health.

@@SubBubz lastly, if you remember he specifically said you get the most speed/dmg at the beginning of the slide, are you doing that as well? Getting max speed is great but also shooting near the beginning of the slide could add more.
