- Lalitha Devi ji has been living in a cave ahead of Gangotri approx 2 kms ahead of Gangotri temple on the way to Gaumukh. She does not like if someone offers money. I was shown the way by a guide otherwise it is difficult to find such yogis living quite hidden from the public. #lalithadevi #gangotri #himalayanyogi
People don’t see the sub titles where I have clearly mentioned that i am not interviewing her. It’s a conversation between two people where both need to speak. She is not a tape recorder where someone goes and switches her ON and then people like you would get entertained. Our beloved Lalitha Didi, she was our former principal in school. She served as the principal of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya , Golaghat for many years and that was the golden time of our school. She is a wonderful person and a great mentor for life. We love you Lalitha Didi.

What a wonderful soul Maa Lataji is. Completely at peace with herself - a true indication of the exalted state she is in. She says get in touch with people who have achieved the blissful state of mind, in answer to a question by the interviewer. I would say it's a pity that he could not see the answer to his own quest in those words as is abundant from his response to constructive criticism. Humility is the first step to learning. People saying negative comments for the interviewer are so very wrong..... calling him names/egoistic etc shows how petty they are themselves. First of all, Loads of thanks to him for the rare interview and the subsequent upload. Without him, the commentators won't be having the opportunity of knowing about this Great Saint. Secondly it is not an interview at all, a conversation. When most people meet saints, they feel a sort of informal sense of affection/belonginess as if the saint belongs to them, is their very own, and the conversation flows out without thinking much, like talk between a long lost child and mother ! We should be thankful to him for sharing a personal video with us and shouldn't criticize...he is talking what he wants to talk, though I would agree that some People have better sense of getting the most benefit from their short meetings with saints by letting the saint talk more and by asking the right questions. But we are no one to judge those who don't have this sense, also, at times, many of us feel like talking to our heart's content to a rarely found saint who seems friendly and willing to listen . The Saint here is listening patiently but people are so impatient !
I am so thankful for this video as it has fulfilled my wish of Seeing Lalita Maa again- I didnt know whether I will be lucky to Have her darshan once more or not. I clearly remember our last meeting...
I and my husband met Lalita maa 8 years back during our visit to Harshil and Gangotri. In Harshil we met two more great saints Mauni baba, and Brahmachari Ram ji. Mauni baba told us about Lalita maa [He communicates by writing short notes] and it was sheer luck and blessing of these saints that we got her Darshan because initially we cancelled going upto her cave- Mauni Baba was ready to guide us but the trail was slippery as it was a rainy day. Then Mauni Baba told us to wait outside the Gangotri temple as in those days Lalita maa would daily visit the temple. Within 5 minutes of waiting, she arrived, and blessed us with a affectionate talk- as if we are Her relatives ! I clearly remember the love and twinkle in her eyes, the enthusiasm with which she was talking, It started raining suddenly- we all were getting wet but She kept on talking talking enthusiastically- as if the rain in that cold Gangotri weather doesn't bother her ! We too were listening with awe, carried away in her compassion, and it was Mauni Baba who gestured at both of us that we must go on our separate ways or else we all will fall sick !
It was only 10-15 lucky minutes we had with her, but they will always be cherished in our memories!
Dear Juhi. thanks for your comments and observation as well as understanding. As I have clearly mentioned in the sub-title what is the purpose of the video. It is to let people know about real yogis in the Himalayas. The video was recorded in Oct 2018 and was to be edited and uploaded by someone else who had joined me in this project. I had no idea about editing and making a CZcams channel. After waiting endlessly for almost 1.5 years or more I decided to upload the videos on my own as my friend could never get time to edit and upload. I would say I got kind of betrayed. My wife told me to go ahead and do it myself. I could not edit it well so decided to upload the raw video without editing even what was more of a personal conversation. In this life to me there is nothing personal. So it does not really matter to me.
The conversation was longer but this is what got recorded by the guide who took me there.
Let people comment what they want to, it just shows their own individual state of mind. I wish they all benefit from the video and not get distracted into unnecessary negativity.

Should we too not try to be a little kind ourselves? Is that not what great souls like her are trying to teach us? Why not take the good in what is being shared and assume a good intention. One can always move on if they do not want to partake of what is being shared. Is there really a need to be unkind?

Namaskar 🙏 , thanks for taking a interview of pioused soul , but I want to say something that ,when you take a interview of someone , the recording should be very clear , in this video - Lalitha Devi ' s voice can't listen , where as we can hear you , try to adjust the Mike properly . Then only your video will make some sense 😊 .
There was an issue with sound and recording, this was not a professional recording. Guide was recording with the mobile phone and there was some discomfort if we sit too close to her just for recording, as that interferes with the free flowing conversations. The primary purpose was not recording but to meet her and introduce her about myself then have a conversation at the level needed. Also to share this to make people aware about the existence of such saints in Gangotri and other places in the Himalayas. So that serious seekers can find them. They are not found easily. The purpose was not a discourse.
She gave a completely natural reply to the query on do you do sadhana, do you meditate. Just being constantly aware of one self, seems to be the only action required.

Nice, I was briefly in Vivekananda Kendra, had met Lalitha Didi in VKV Golaghat. It would have been better, if a separate mic given to Didi, the voice would have been much clearer
Looks like you are doing all the talking and she’s just listening. Are you seeking or just ruminating your thoughts in front of a Yogi to just stamp your opinion???
I am having a conversation and it is very often I spend lot of times conversing with saints. In these conversations it is mostly mutual validation of our experiences. I am also a sadhak/seeker. So when she is looking for some words I fill in. Though I agree I should have allowed her to only speak as people on you tube would prefer that. But if I don't speak then she does not understand me as I met her for the first time, so I feel I when I meet a yogi for the first time I need to kind of talk as well as then they connect with me and converse with me accordingly. I hope you understand. This video is not a discourse but made with the purpose of making people aware of these saints. This is not a discourse. This is small part of my conversation with her.
shiv mathur my own experience in conversing with Yogis is to just ask a qn and have them say something. I have seen once I start talking they keep quiet. They don’t argue or disagree.
@@wmurthy Depends on what stage are you yourself in your own spiritual path. So what is right for you may not be right for me. You reach a stage where no questions are left at that moment. Finding answers are not through asking questions but finding the answers yourself from your life experiencing and continue to explore, meditate, etc. Maybe difficult to explain here what I mean and why my way is different. Point of making this video was only to make people aware about the existence of real yogis saints which are kind of hidden somewhere. One has to make an effort to find the truth including true yogis. This is not a recording of any discourse. It is just so that informing people about these yogis is easier through a you tube video.
Your purpose of making this video is nice but what to say. U are not able to see where things could have been better. Lalitha maa is very very educated and has been in highest posts where ever she has been. I am surprised u failed to see that she dies not run short of words, she is extremely expressive. U couldn't see that I guess so ok.
If it's a small part of ur conversation u should have edited it and made more smaller where v can catch her essence.
Because I know maa, have spent little time with her and can see how it objective of making people aware ....could have been fulfilled.
U didn't seem to have grasped even1 percent of the yogi urself before introducing her to the world.
It is such a delight to look at her and to see her, feeling much joy and a very very pleasant energy from her, such sweetness ,,much gratitiude for this video ! Gratitiude to God :)

You forgot what Lalitha Devi is saying all the time. She is saying it starts with oneself first. Help yourself first and then the people will come to you seeking help/guidance the way you are receiving it now from Lalitha Devi.
Also she opted to live in a cave which brings peace and happiness to her without doing Sadhana. Our journeys from various path will all lead to one place. Not all need to live in a cave or even in the nearby vicinity maybe you can achieve you share of happiness and bliss even in your garden. The Do's and don'ts place us in a 'prison'. Just follow your heart, your truth.
