  • Asking "What is this trying to teach me?" is a game-changer when you're stuck in tough situations. Here's why:
Encourages Growth: It helps you see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, making you more resilient.
Shifts Your Mindset: This question flips the script from feeling like a victim to feeling empowered, giving you a sense of control.
Promotes Self-Discovery: It pushes you to reflect on your beliefs and patterns, leading to deeper self-awareness and authenticity.
Aligns with Core Values: By finding the lesson, you can align your actions with your true values, making decisions that feel right to you.
Boosts Problem-Solving: Instead of getting bogged down by negativity, you focus on finding solutions and improving, building resilience.
Enhances Emotional Intelligence: Reflecting on tough situations improves your ability to understand and manage your emotions, which is key for personal and professional success.
In short, asking "What is this trying to teach me?" helps you turn setbacks into stepping stones, making you stronger and more self-aware.

Very good advice and points, especially how easily you outlined the fear of failure for refusal to take accountability for own actions.

Instead of asking “ why me?”
Ask “ what can I learn from this?”

This argument is used by people who mistreat you
Try to shift the blame from themselves taking accountability to the person who had been mistreated into taking accountability for their actions
Just another step in the mistreatment
But yes be accountable for yourself
    But first hold them accountable
