Joying New Home Launcher for Android 12 Radio UI User Interface

Joying developed a new User Interface Home Launcher for your choice. It is more convenient and changable! It is only available for the Newst Qualcomm Snapdragon Android 12 Version Car Radio.
If you have an Joying Qualcomm Snapdragon Android 12 Version Head Unit already, pls upgrade the below files to get it.
Here is the firmnware for radio with screen resolution 1280X800 / 1920X720:

Here is the firmware for radio with the screen resolution 1920X1080 / 1920X1200 / 2000X1200:

Kindly reminds:
1. The capacity of USB flash disk should be less than 32GB.
2. Please format the USB flash disk with "FAT32", and then copy the upgraded files.
3. Copy the files to the root directory of the USB flash disk.
4. Don't power off or restart the radio during the upgrade process.
5. After the upgrade, the radio will enter the home screen, pls don't operate the radio and wait for 2 minutes, Because the radio is installing APPS in the background.
After the apps installation finished, you can operate the stereo or power off it.
Finally, You can choose your favor "UI 1 or UI 2 " on the setting.

Thanks Boy Ka! The update is very good. A few tips for others: make sure the usb disk you’re updating with is FAT32 formatted. Just learned the hard way that any other format will fail. Mine paused on the static joying logo for about 1-2 min before continuing on the first boot. And my apps and data were wiped and Google isn’t recognizing my backup, but it’s still a new Hu for me so not too big of a deal. The new interface is really great.

Have you changed/fixed the HUGE pop-up volume icon thing that pops up on screen any time you change the volume?

I'm waiting too. I really want to know Joying's technical department is really rubbish？now 2024 but joying can't make 360 panorama camera on their product
Sorry, maybe we won't release the 360 camera now and recently! It is a really hard work for both Joying and customer!
Before I do this update do I have to update the older firmware first and then this one? Or just go straight to this update and every thing will be ok?

@Boy Ka With the new update it doesn't allow to set different launcher as default. Is there any solution to this?

Sorry, now the third-party home launcher apps cannor work with the Joying Android 12 version radio which updated the 6th Jan version firmware!@@austinh1750
@@austinh1750 I contacted Joying last week and they sent me an apk file which allowed me to set Nova as the default launcher. The apk adds Nova to list of themes in the settings app.
@@BoykaJoying Hello, I just bought the JY-TZ216N8 and paid to have it installed in my new truck. I've been looking all over the internet for a way to install Nova or Agama launcher, and you're saying it's impossible now???
