Ramesses the II visited New York and Jacksonville FL in the 1980’s. I saw the exhibit as a kid. The audio tour portion was narrated my Vincent Price! Super cool.

Ramesses 1st came to North America on a ship and was sent home on an airplane. According to ancient Egyptian beliefs of the afterlife, the deceased "traveled to the West on a great boat" to the Hall of Judgement. If the soul was pronounced as "pure of heart" his Akh, or spiritual body, would "fly across the heavens on the wings of an enormous bird". Seems he did just that, and I'm happy for him!

Ramesses II also visited North America. I saw him on a tour of artifacts in Denver in the 90s.

I live just ten miles from where the Niagara Falls Museum used to be on the Canadian side of the Niagara River. As kids, my dad used to take us to Niagara Falls quite often, and the museum was always on our list.
As a kid, I was quite impressed with the Egyptian mummies and every time, I would go to see them. At the time…..it was not yet known that the one mummy was Rameses I.
We just thought they were ordinary less important mummies. When the reality was later disclosed…..I was shocked that several times, during trips to the museum, I had been standing right next to, and looking at the mummy of a famous ancient Egyptian pharaoh.

He was old and in poor health at his death and lacks the wounds and damage to his body to indicate such an ordeal as a cause of death.

@starthelotus3453 I agree, and get SO **** tired of the Bible- babblers pretending they know more than scientists do! Even Israeli scholars are convinced that the "Exodus" story is "hogwash", to put it politely.

It can't be Ramses I, since Exodus mentions the city of Pi-Ramses, built by Ramses II. The Exodus, if it did occur, happened in the reign of either Ramses II or Ramses III.

Anytime I hear Kemet, it’s always coming from someone that believes a lot of untruths.
The ethnic Egyptians that are in direct relation to the Ancient Egyptians don’t even call it that.
      It’s a weird virtue signal.
