Decided to take the plunge. My neck was starting to hurt from all the hunching over my keyboard on the makeshift cradle made from an old business card holder, grip liner and paperclips bent into hooks covered with wire sheathing. I was really pleased with the way this holds my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Landscape position works the best to hold it securely when unfolded without damage to the hinge. Combined with my Logitech K810 and Microsoft Mobile Mouse, I now have a complete, yet compact desktop-style workstation. BTW, 12 South would make a lot more $$$ if they promoted it as a universal stand for all devices, regardless of manufacturer or operating system. I picked mine up off Ebay for $45, with free shipping, new in the box. BTW, I now have access to the volume rocker and fingerprint sensor without having to remove the device. BTW, I will now recommend this to whoever asks about what holder/stand/mount to get on all the Samsung, Android and Z Fold forums I subscribe to online.

Nice review! 5:57 - the mini slips almost out and you don't make mention of this? Looks like it won't work for ipad mini 6 vertical? It doesn't look like "it will hold it like you wouldn't believe"! I was thinking of using it with the mini - did it work out for you?
I've just read a review on Amazon where a user says this stand is *not* compatible with the ipad mini 6. *If the iPad mini 6 is inserted into the clamp in portrait orientation, the device will fall out, because the clamp is too large. In landscape orientation instead the clamp will be covering the viewing angle of the camera, making video calls impossible."* You said you bought this specifically for the ipad mini 6?
I have the iPad Mini 6 and it works fine both ways, portrait and landscape - it also works with the iPad 12.9" that I have. In full disclosure I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I keep the Mini in the Apple case and use it on my desk more then I use this device. Still a great stand to go into the kitchen etc with. I find myself using the full iPad on it more. BUT - YES the iPad mini works great on it. I have some videos coming up and I will put it in there. I wish I could post photos. @@patrickpaganini No problem - the 6 is a little small on it - works but small. NO issues with slipping etc. everything is really solid but the clamp is plastic FYI still solid but and won't break but it is plastic - thanks for watching :)
