- Since I know I won't make it to my 300 subscriber I decided to upload this on my 250 subber. And cause I was finally able to finish this remix just last night after 8 months of working diligently on this song. I'm happy to say it turned out very very much to my liking. Was going to do a trance/techno version but that just isn't my style man. xD MAKE SURE TO LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES OR YOU WON'T HEAR THE AWESOME BASS!!! You know what has to be the scariest thing about Red? Since he doesn't speak I always thought this implied that he didn't even give his pokemon commands. He just stands there. He doesn't even have to speak, his pokemon are so well trained and amazing they can kick the shit out of yours without even obeying any commands.

His Pokemon are already near level 100. Pokemon can't go over 100... and if they do, the game is broken, so don't even try suggesting his team going over level 100. >.>
I finally figured out why Red is so special. More special than all the other champions like Cynthia.
He's the only champion that was us. A player character that keeps on returning. Like most people returning to the games and playing them, he represents us and building our team, becoming the best. People can argue that other champions are better, and they may be right; but none can or will ever hold a candle to how special Red is. Because he is us.
This is fact when I first battled red in gold I was shocked I ended crying because I remembered my journey through red version before it was stolen from me when I was a kid

The last Pokemon game final boss: you find yourself in a somewhat familiar place. An old man comes across you hooded, carrying only a bag and Pokeballs. You see a Pokemon come out from the ball and hear familiar music. This by far will be the toughest opponent you have ever faced. A trainer who somehow rose his Pokemon above the 100 level limit. You somehow come up with the strength to defeat him. After the battle, the hooded figure walks off and something falls out of his bag. You see only one object, a hat. You instantly know, this was him. This was the Pokemon trainer known as Red.

This theme is fantastic. This remix really captures the situation when facing Red. The chorus makes it sound like it's a blizzard and it just feels like the battle to end all battles.

I love what you did there with the synthesiser while keeping the 'Ah' part of it which gives it an imperial epic proportions theme which is exactly what the championship battle should convey, I can tell you for a fact, If I was to switch on and fight red with this in the background, I would literally hide in the corner like a little girl. Right now that hopefully only stays in the stuff of nightmares

I want a 30 minute extension of this...it is so godly; the replacement of wind instruments with the sound of a chorus is amazing. It puts a whole new perspective on Red for Gold meeting up with him...I mean, no other pokemon trainer is as amazing as Red...I don't think anyone or thing can top him; and this is just one amazing tribute to dedicate his honor. Good job on making this; and congratulations.

There's a place between Johto and Kanto, a hallowed mountain called Mt. Silver. People say only the strongest and most vicious pokemon lives there. It scares even the bravest of the trainer, the only place that you haven't set your foot off after your long journey. You already on the very top now, collecting all the gym badges from both regions, beating both the champion (Lance) and former Kanto champion (Blue). So, you've made up your mind, hoping that you'll get new challenges along the way. You climb higher and higher, but seems the mountain never ends. It's very cold, dark, and the pokemon there are relentless. You almost running out of supplies and finally, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. You've reach the summit.
The light is blinding, there's only white as far as eyes can see. It's hailing but somehow you catch a glimpse of a person that standing in front of you with small yellow pokemon in his shoulder, staring at the cities far far below. You can only see his back, but somehow he seems familiar and you realize.. it's him. You knew the stories about him: The pokemon trainer who single-handedly destroyed an entire evil organization, the trainer who have bested the dragon master, and the former rival of Blue, taking his title just right after he became a champion. It is said that he consumed by his quest to be the very best so then he goes missing, never contacting anyone for these past 3 years, not even his mother. The legend that people only dare to whisper, The Pokemon Trainer Red. Equipped with this realization, you walk towards him. Your footsteps echoing along the way and he turn around and facing you with his piercing gaze. His most trusted companion, Pikachu, goes down from his shoulder and stand in front of him, ready to battle at the command of his master. He's not saying a word and neither will you but you understand that this is going to be your last challenge, your final battle, at the highest point in the region, against the legendary trainer himself. Then, you hear his theme starts...

Random question. Don't take this the wrong way as just about every Red artwork I've seen is beyond badass but, why does he always look so depressed?
I think it's because of how people interpret him based on the context. He's been atop that snowy mountain for three years and doesn't say a word to you, which gives him a very solemn vibe. Personally, I like to think Red isn't being sad or creepy, but just bored and resigned because he hasn't had any Trainers to fight for three years.
That's a good way to look at it. And at least he fixes that boredom. I forget which game, but it's nice to hear he comes back for matches in tournaments :)

I wouldn't really say his friendship with Blue was ever ruined. They're eternal rivals sure, but I'd say they're friends before anything else. I believe in what I saw in Pokemon Origins even though anime has a fine reputation for ruining great games when bringing them to the big screen xD
