    Who is Meishu-Sama?
Mokichi Okada(岡田茂吉), known by his title as Meishu-Sama(明主様), was a Japanese philosopher and spiritual leader who founded the Church of World Messianity. His teachings deal with spiritual awareness that imagines an ideal world cleansed of its impurities, including disease, poverty and conflict.
In the 1930s, he developed Johrei, a spiritual healing technique that aims to purify the spiritual body along with strengthening the mental and physical well being of a person. After receiving the healing, the practitioners obtain the divine uplifting to construct a society where each individual can understand and effectively communicate with others. As a result, people will exist in a world of peace and prosperity.
    The Artist's Vision:
In 2010, I came to the Abhaya Upachar Kendra (Shin Ken Ko-Kykai), Kathmandu, Nepal where I was introduced to the Johrei healing technique. At the time, I was battling with chronic depression. For the next two years, I practiced Johrei and through this spiritual discipline was completely healed of my depression. Since 2013, I have been an active member of this association, spending my time in helping others to heal their sicknesses through spirituality as taught by Johrei technique. Through this song, I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the Johrei Movement as it offers hope and joy as well as healing to others like myself. I hope my personal efforts will inspire other people to join me in my journey of spiritual awakening.
