hello, im visiting beijing next month and absolutely want to try beijing duck there! how much was the one from your video and do you recommend it from any other restaurant in beijing? thank you :)
we paid around ¥388 ($54 USD) for a full duck. definitely very pricey and our friend in beijing that took us said that locals don’t really go often because it’s so expensive. as a tourist through its really such a great table side dining experience!
we used both wechat and alipay but found them unreliable at times (sometimes the transaction would go through and sometimes not) so we ended up always carrying around cash just in case since everyone including taxis will accept it!
I have stayed this St. Regis hotel many times, this was considered six stars hotel years ago, used by many foreign presidents and top diplomats.
