📌 My POURING MEDIUM
Behr Dynasty deep base semi-gloss and minwax polycrylic (roughly 2:1) from Home depot
And thinning to the right consistency with JoSonja gloss varnish (Dick blick, jerrys artsarama or Fluidart.co)
I used just two paints in this
NOVA color
cadmium red deep, pearl black and super pearl gold
fluid-art.co/ for TLP and SUP, Silicone mats, Palette knives etc.
📌 The magic juice/Cell activator is mixed with australian floetrol. (1:1)

in this case tri-art carbon black and rose gold
The wall paint I use for my PILLOW PAINT is Glidden essentials 'white' in eggshell

📌 THE SPINNER I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single work step is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)

DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.

Ich mache es jetzt einfach mal...DANKE sagen. Inzwischen habe ich so viele Video's von unterschiedlichen Künstlern betrachtet und doch bleibe ich immer wieder hier, bei Dir, hängen. Warum,? weil Du wirklich Kunst betreibst, Du gestaltest, du komponierst, Du überlässt es nicht nur dem Zufall, besonders die Serie der minimalistischen Swipes hat es mir angetan. Sie ist so inspirativ für mich - inzwischen herrscht bei mir zu Hause nur noch Chaos :-) und ich muss mich als Deutsche an die Rezepturen erst herantasten, zumal wir hier nicht solche Materialien haben (ich werde nicht verstehen, was Behr 8300 genau ist) - aber ich liebe es, dass ich mal wieder Farbe vom Boden abkratzen muss. Ich habe der Malerei seit Jahren den Rücken zugekehrt und mich auch da schon immer eher minimalistisch bewegt, daher ist es kein Wunder, dass ich genau bei Dir immer wieder hängen bleibe. Fluid Art ist sehr neu für mich - aber es ist genau das was ich bei der normalen Malerei immer nur schwer umsetzen konnte. Freiraum zu schaffen und dennoch eine Mitte zu haben, die interessant aber nicht zu dominant ist. Ich bewundere Deine Werke ...nicht alle, aber seeeeeeeeeeeeeehr viele und gerade Deine Videos mit den Erklärungen, wie man mit dem Malspachtel umgeht helfen mir immer wieder auf's Neue nicht den Mut zu verlieren. DANKE!!!! Auch wenn Du dir davon nichts kaufen kannst, wollte ich es mal loswerden:) Viele Grüße aus Berlin
Aaaahhhhhhh! Das ist das beste Kompliment ever! Nichts ist schöner plötzlich inspiriert zu werden . Mir ist fast das Selbe passiert. Habe lange nichts kreiert, Arbeit, Rechnungen, Leben halt… und plötzlich hat es mich nach Jahren wieder gepackt und konnte nicht mehr aufhören. Einfach toll, wenn das Feuer wieder lodert!

Je suis toujours aussi fan de votre travail !! C'est magique. Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas trouver vos couleurs fabriquées en Californie . Pour nous c'est compliqué car il faut payer les frais de douane, ce qui augmente le prix 😢. En France il n'y a pas de créateurs de peinture pour l'acrylique Pourring. En tous les cas bravo ♥️♥️♥️👏

Hi Jessica. Lovely work as always. I have a question. I'm making floating frames now with my little myter box. If my canvas is say 16x20 I measure my pieces at 17 1/2 x 21 1/2. Is that right? And sometimes when I cut a piece it ends up a wee bit longer than the other side although I measured them the same. Any help would be appreciated
Accuracy is hard. Make sure you hold the pieces right or maybe you can cut them at the same time? Like on top of eachother?
If your canvas is 16 on one side you add your space twice (lets say its 1/4, you'll add 1/2 to 16. If the other side runs long, you'll have to add the thickness of your frame twice as well.
I really should work on a video about it to make it easier to explain...
@@WinterStromArt So am I right for a 16x20 to cut the 16's to 17 1/2 and the 20's to 21 1/2? I need to know if that's right so I can figure on what went wrong in the cut like if the saw moved or the wood moved etc....
it depends on how thick your frame is. that counts into the measurement.
1. (right and left piece) side of canvas, plus 2x (once for each side) space between canvas and frame , plus 2x frame thickness
2. (top and bottom pieces) side of the canvas plus 2x space between canvas and frame

This art, frankly, has no worth from an artistic standpoint. The final product reads as a second grade "art" project. I guess it's ok as a hobby - most hobby art is appreciated only by the maker and their parents.
I understand your point. Nevertheless my aim is to bring this to a different standard. I might not be quite there but I will be.
