I am getting job in Catania, please let me know how safe is Catania ,from various reviews i am getting various negative reviews about Catania ,there are many reviews that Catania have very high crime rate
@@Mahabala.Gaming Catania can be dangerous as it can be New York or Paris or Singapore. All the world is part of the same game ;)
@@DarioUK Thanks for your response, but I am asking in general terms as through various websites I am seeing that Catania have high rate of crime ,as i need to relocate to new country so need to take care of all things
Fun fact: the Monastery is also the location one of the biggest universities of Catania. It is very common to see students walking, studying, hanging out in the monastery, from 8 am to 8 pm. Beautiful video!
As a Catanese, this video made me appreciate more my land. So happy you liked it and hoping to see you again in Sicily🥰
Well done. I'm born and raised in Catania, this is a beautiful portrait of the city.
I come from Catania, beautiful video, thanks for your visit, everyone is welcome in our Catania and Sicily!!!
Love these top 10 videos! If we can get more footage I would love to see more. I’ve watched the series and I think we see some extra footage on these we didn’t see before. Thank you soooo much from Texas. A trip to Italy with you is always a JOY
Such a great guide on Catania! I just came back from Italy (Venice, Florence and Bologna) but definitely adding Catania to my list 🙌🏽
I live in Catania, you did such a great tribute to our beautiful city! ❤️🐘

Great recap. Anxious to see new one of Tuscany.
Just arrived into Sicily today and watched your video. Thanks for the great ideas ☺️
I'm currently watching several travel vlogs about Sicily on CZcams, and I have to say, this is among the best I've come across! The explanations are clear and incredibly helpful, making them fantastic guides for anyone interested in exploring Sicily. Great job!
I'm from Catania and this video is amazing! You show everything well. I hope you come again to visit many other beautiful places in Sicily. ❤️❤️
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!

Sicily is one of the most interesting place on the face of the earth. I want to see the Stromboli volcano at night while it is erupting.😍

Thank you for yours descrictions of my city, Catania 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A brilliant video that captures the essentials of a place. it was a bit quick for me, but I looked twice, and since we have the pause button, so I could write down the important things. Congratulations !!! I usually almost never subscribe to any video, but I did this time.
Great video and so easy to follow it without feeling overwhelmed! One of the best videos done on Catania that I watched so far! Planning a trip to Sicily this year so I’m taking lots of notes to get me an idea where to go and what to visit! Your video totally helped me making my decision! Thank you 🙏 Hopefully many more videos to watch from you guys!

Very nice video. Thanks to both of you. My best wishes from India. ❤👍🙏🏻
Great video ☺☺😍😍
I enyoj watching your videos. They are so informative.
Stunning Catania!
Agreed! 😍
Beautiful video of my beautiful city 💕 there’s a reason why the church of San Nicolò l’Arena hasn’t been finished! The benedictines were very powerful, hence the prominent position of the monastery in the city. When they decided to build the church next to it, it was in a power competition with the bishop of Catania, who couldn’t accept that the biggest church in the city wouldn’t have been the one in piazza Duomo any more; also, its position upon the hill of the city would kind of dominate it. In the end the bishop managed to stop the construction of San Nicolò l’Arena, to keep his symbolic power on Catania unaltered. If you want to, you can have guided tours in the Benedictine monastery, where they tell you this and other interesting stories about the monastery and also show you many places that are usually closed to the public, like the underground, the kitchen, and many more 💕 I’m a university student at the monastery and couldn’t love it more than I do!
Thanks you. I’m visiting soon and this really help
That’s so exciting, we hope you have an amazing trip! 😍🇮🇹
Catania is such an underrated city. I adore it
Good job mbare!! :)

My family hails from Catania, Sicily, but emmigrated to NY in the 1920's..
I have zero knowledge about my cultural heritage, save the broken Sicilian I picked up from dinners & holidays with my great- grandparents.
A peaceful walk in Librino is missing
Hahaha
🤣🤣🤣 also a peaceful walk in Zia Lisa

😂😂😂🔝👏
Loving your videos thanks! Just wondering if you know the name of the street which was decorated with the umbrellas overhead please?
Cheers,
Marg
Thanks for the video!
I was wondering what are the walking paths that we can see at 0:35?
Catania BEDDA ... Catania is Beauty !!!!
Ciao Catania. REMEMBER ME? LOVE, CATANIA, SICILY. RETURNING, SICILY
Thank you
Wondering if it is better to stay 4 nights in Catania itself seeing the highlights and taking the red bus rides or just 3 nights for Catania itself and 3 nights on any pretty of the coastal towns? Perhaps adding 3 nights to another beautiful place nearby? Any idea?
I’m from Catania . About the pasta alla norma ,you can have also pizza alla norma . It used to be one of my favorite pizza once .
Oooo yes! We love the pizza alla Norma too, it’s so delicious! 😍🍕

top 10 things to do in catania:
1- RUN AWAY
We arrived in Catania yesterday after a relaxing refreshing stay in beautiful Taormina. What a dissapointment walking from the bus drop to our air B&B in the city centre through a filthy rubbish strewn ghetto.Everything here symbolises a decaying mismanaged city that has lost it’s self respect.
I just arrived in Catania and I'm very disappointed. Trash everywhere, no place to walk, chaotic traffic. Catania Beach not attractive at all. I have the feeling that the place is completely neglected. At least people are nice.
U should try Gela.....the best kept secret 😜
❤❤😍😍😍
Hello guys! did you do all Sicily without a car? How many days did it take you?
Oro Sicilia .
it's possible to can vist all this places in 2 days?
You forget the Aranchini and the granita :-D

Can someone that speaks no Italian visit Catania for let’s say a month and be able to get by? My daughter is wanting to visit and I am hesitant to send her.
Returning.
im hoping to visit alone in Seotember - any tips for a female lone traveller?
Ciao amici
I’m a student at the benedictin monastery❤
That’s awesome Andrea! 😍
I love Italy so much, but Catania was such a dissapointment. It was so dirty, and it stinked there as hell. If you are in Sicily i would recommend to go to the sea, or different cities like Noto
You forgot via Plebiscito, where you can taste the iconic horse meat of Catania
That’s disgusting .
@@ZzXZ636 you say that only because you never tried, it's delicious
@@dariodiluciano9443 No I say it because I don’t think we should kill the horse .
What's the difference between the horse and every other animal we eat?
Beautiful city but, unfortunately, badly managed by current politics. I hope in the future it can be 10 times more valued, it is small but AMAZING!
Exactly it’s unfair how they treat us
La playa avete dimenticato la costa sabbiosa
how is crime rate ?
LA PESCHERIA 💀💀💀💀💀
just donate to katina to be safe edna 🙏🏻🇱🇰
Vi siete dimenticati il sangeli
How could you manage to hide all the rubbish lying on the streets? :D
Don’t go back then… simple!
These hop-in hop-off buses are just waste of money in general.

Lived here for 6 monhs. Never was welcomed by this locals. Not friendly at all to Americans. What you show is nothing of what I experienced. I tried to speak the language but that didn't help.
Ho sempre e solo viaggiato all'estero.
I just visited Catania, also went to Etna, Palermo, Tormina and Outlet village. I would NEVER again go to Sicily. The streets are SO dirty, trafic is dangerous both for drivers and pedestrians. The buses are not reliable. There are people sleeping on the streets and bus stops. They come in caffee to ask you for money or cigarets. They wont speak English EVEN on airport. AIRPORT FOR GOD SAKE. I hope this comment helps somene because i wish i saw this before i came. Also if you dont bring cash you will have bad time because 95% places will take only cash.
I just arrived. Wish I could see your comment before. I agree 100%. I'm very disappointed.
Too bad that there are more languages in the world than just English....... Even worse if someone doesn't speak your mothertongue to make YOUR life easier.
@@Giulietta2612 English is not my first language. English is international language accepted in world. You can google it. So if the airport is international they NEED to know english. Simple as that.
Stay at home and watch TV
@@soumenchowdhury1136 No tnx, this year i visited 8 countries and more than 30 cities. And i plan to do even more next year.
