‘Hang their heads in shame’: Greens senator slammed for 'disgraceful' social media post

  • Shadow Home Affairs Minister James Paterson has criticised Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi for a recently deleted social media post.
    In the post, Senator Faruqi was seen standing with six students, with one student holding a sign depicting a figure placing an Israeli flag into a trash bin.
    Mr Paterson says this was a “disgracefully irresponsible and dangerous thing” for the Greens to do.
    “To pose for this photo, to post this photo, to realise after people pointed out what was in there, delete it but not apologise.”
    The shadow Home Affairs minister said it reflects “very poorly on Mereen Faruqi” and the Greens.
    “They should hang their heads in shame.”

      People holding such ideologies have no place in democratic, civilized governments. They should not be allowed to run for office, let alone hold one. Their ideologies just don't jive with ours. That also goes for socialists, communists, Marxists and fascists. They have NO place in our governments.

This very "prophecy" is recorded in the Hamas Charter and is believed by ALL Muslims:
      "The last hour won't come before the Muslims would fight the Jews and the Muslims will kill them so Jews would hide behind rocks and trees. Then the rocks and tree would call: oh Muslim, oh servant of God! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him." Clearly, we in the West cope with immigration, but not so the Muslims. I would be surprised if anyone of conservative conviction would ever vote Greens anywhere BUT last - except in Qld optional preferential where they could be simply not given a vote at all. It was interesting that at one of the "school strike" gatherings, a giant watermelon picture was displayed - the perfect symbol of the Greens - a think outer layer of green around a mass of red.

    • @saintsone7877
      @saintsone7877 Před 7 měsíci

      Yes. It is often called the watermelon party for that precise reason. They are wolves in sheep clothing with the harmless green on the outside disguising their Marxist leftist RED roots on the inside. Almost the entire 2022 Labor party would be welcomed into the Greens Party in a heartbeat as they are very similar in their views.

    I don’t stand by the argument that “there’s nothing we can do, they’re democratically elected”. There should always be checks and balances despite someone being democratically elected. We have to have higher standards of expectations of elected officials - otherwise we get what we’re getting now ! Needs to change. My point is so an electorate decided they want a certain person. That’s fine so long as they uphold high standards of integrity & decorum. I feel the Senate should be able to remove any Senator that breaks codes of conduct, continually.

    Someone may like to point out to the good Senator Faruqi, largest ever massacre of Palestinians was carried out in Jordan during The Black September War, 6 Sep 1970 - 23 Jul 197.
    Jordan's King Hussein killed more Palestinians in 11 days than Israel could in 20 years. The main perpetrator of this was a Pakistani Brigadier by the name of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq.
    Zia-ul-Haq went on to become the president of Pakistan, after a military coup where he murdered the incumbent Pres Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He is also credited with introducing Sharia Law into Pakistan.
