Guys; this is a useful video, but like the previous commenter notes, you just have to pop the top of the switch off and then pull the assembly out with a pair of plyers; no prying or screwdriver needed! I used one of the trim removal tools in the pack that you recommended in the video description to pop the plastic handle off of its metal shaft. I then grabbed the switch by the exposed metal shaft and pulled up with my electrical pliers; i bet channel lock pliers would make this even easier! I probably wouldn't have done this if I didn't suspect the switch was i was pulling on was broken - but now that I have done it, I know that my assembly was very strong. No prying needed, no broken clips, and no door panel removal needed! My E46 is a 2002 325ci.
Do you have a video that shows step-by-step putting the door panel back on? Correct order, etc. Taking things off is one thing, putting it back on is often problematic. thanks
I have got a mirror switch that does not work (it has purple back) now i can't find any of these on ebay. I see many with yellow back and they look similar it is for folding mirrors as well. Wondering if i can put an yellow one instead
My key. Fob doesnt work anymore. Even with new battery and reprogram. I was wondering how i can fix it. I also want to try to locate the antenna. Do you have videos like that?
Lol... I don’t have to remove door panel or pry switch. Easy job. Two tools need 1. Plastic Pry tool with twin mouth to remove top of switch 2. A plier to pull and remove switch.

Hi guys, great video! I have a problem with the mirror switch of my e46 coupe 325ci 2005 year. When I put the reverse gear, the right mirror goes down, always. Obviously something is broken because before I could switch on and off this feature by pushing the mirror switch left or right. But now, the right mirror always goes down, does not matter, if the switch is pushed left or right. Do you know what is broken? Can you solve, or even better make a video? Thanks!,
