Biggering in unironicly a brilliant song and it's such a shame they cut it from the movie, when It switches the tone shift is so visible It's just crazy
One thing I’ve noticed listening to both biggering and how bad can I be is that they use similar lyrics they both used the “end up as someone else’s lunch” and the “it’s called survival of the fittest” line and both songs also used “the pr people are lying” the only difference being how bad can I be says “who cares if a few trees are dying” and biggering says “who cares if a few things are dying” they also both use the words gratifying at the end of their songs i would name every similarity in each song like how they both use “the lawyer’s are denying” but Thats too much work I just thought this was interesting.
I agree except the overall tone of both songs is very different biggering paints the once, ler as a straight up villain where as hbcib paints him as just a guy who doesn’t know what he’s doing
True but the end result was they did not know that all the trees were dying some were but the onceler thought that some trees are dying also what happend to the animals it was never explained are they hiding are they gone
Seing the comparision makes me realize that biggering is the best villain song ever made and makes me sad they did not include this song and maybe is not because it was too dark maybe they feeled represented with this song
debatable, it's a great SONG, but I think "Hellfire" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a better VILLAIN SONG. Biggering = better song, Hellfire = better VILLAIN song.

That would have made the message a lot clearer tbh- the movie felt like it was trying to make the Onceler not the bad guy by having O’Hare. I feel like that was probably an illumination decision- can’t have an anti-capitalist movie when you are a greedy capitalist

Biggering is such a good and better song compared to HBCIB, but HBCIB did make a better 'get-stuck-on-your-mind' effect on most people, not all though since nothing is gonna be the same for everyone
I think they sound REALLY similar, but that's not Ed Helms, no. The song is performed by The 88, but if I'm not mistaken, the Once-ler is voiced by Randy Crenshaw in the song (I know the Lorax is voiced by him in it), just like all the other demos aside from Travelling Madness.
