I have a very recent Middle Eastern discovery from a brand called My Perfumes Select, and the perfume is Vanilla Addiction. Itâs like the less intense, less bold, and slightly more upbeat sister to Ani. Soooo gooooood!!

I got a free sample of Lattafa's Rumaan and really like the pomegranate in it! It's sort of like BR540 had a pomegranate baby. I'm also told that it could be like BR540 had said baby with Oud for Greatness but I've never smelled that one.

Tahara vanilla sounds so good! I got a little sample of Qissa Delicious and it is very similar to Sabrina Carpenter Sweet Tooth (which I have but will def pick up QD once out of sweet tooth) đ

Yes! Asdaaf has an identical bottle with Andaleeb, their notes are quite different though

Ok I just got a decant of Une Nuit Nomad's Melt My Heart cologne. Wow!!! It has to be the best chocolate frag out there without a doubt. I have loaded it on daily since I got it 1 week ago and plan on getting more. I saw the full bottle of Melt My Heart going for $600 for 50ml !! Ouch but I think it is worth every penny. I really love the iris note in this. It is very buttery and blends so well. I do get the Absinthe note and love this too. The Absinthe hangs around for about an hour. The other notes kind of pull it away to an aromatic and fresh path that is quite appealing. I also just got Une Nuit Nomad's Memory Hotel. Wow! This is a soft spice and so classy! I love the Carnation note a ton. I suspect Clove chemical to give Carnation-like presence. I wonder what smelling Carnation by itself is like. The tobacco is so well blended and smooth and this frag is a touch sweet. I am also really loving my decant of Iris Torrfie by Guerlain. I rate this in top 3 on Guerlain's very long house list IMO. I have Dior Homme Intense and this is even better to me. It has about 70% the smell of DHI. I like the coffee touch added and it is a bit more dark than DHI.
I would love to experience Melt My Heart, so bummed it's out of my price range đ©

I love your Middle Eastern reviews!â€â€ I'm really intrigued by Awsaaf - do you think it leans super masculine? I find the notes really intriguing, but a lot of reviews report it leaning heavy on the masculine side. I often don't mind slightly masculine-leaning perfumes, but not heavily masculine ones. I have quite a few of the other fragrances...and I've never heard anyone talk about Laraib before! It is sweeter than I typically like my perfumes, but then there's also something addictive about it. I also have Cherry Cola and love the opening, but there was something about the dry down that slightly irritated my nose, so I'm hoping that smooths out after maceration. I've also been curious about others you mentioned, like Tahara Vanilla, and I've been looking for a good Musk Therapy dupe, so I might have to try out Intro Ivory Musk. Also, I loved the Little Mermaid reference. â€đ§ââđ If you like Qissa Delicious, you might also enjoy Lattafa's newest gourmand release, Sehr. It is an almondy vanilla that is so good! Thank you! I think Al Awsaaf is unisex, I think it would only be too masculine for someone if they strictly gravitated towards girly fragrances. I'm definitely intrigued by Sehr, I'm gonna hunt down a sample of that one!

Does tahara vanilla smell similar to kayali musk 12? I'm looking for something to replace it.
While they're definitely in the same fragrance family, they don't smell too similar to me. Tahara Vanilla is more vanilla heavy, has a little bit of a green quality in the opening, and Musk 12 has more prominent florals. The closest fragrance I've smelled to Musk 12 would be Clean Reserve Skin :)
Anne, did your Tahara Vanilla bottle need maceration? I just bought mine, and I can hardly smell it; the scent is very weak. đ

Hmm, I always let my affordable middle eastern fragrances sit for a month, but if it hasnât changed after that it could be a skin chemistry thing
@@AnneLaurenah ok, did you notice yours change much after a month? It disappears when it's dried down but I just don't enjoy the first 10 mins.
I get this with Musk Therapy. I think its just my skin chemistry. Thought I was the only one đ It never improved for me even after the dry down. Just not for me.
