This is the second incarnation of Drax the Destroyer. In this form he's as big as the Hulk, can fly and shoot energy beams from his fist. Unfortunately, he was brain damaged, because he was killed in his previous life by his daughter, Heather Douglas, a.k.a. Moondragon by telepathically destroying his brain. He was resurrected and given power by the Titan god of time Kronos. This Drax had some funny interactions with the Smart Hulk in the Infinity Gauntlet mini -series. The new version of Drax who made it into the movie is the 3rd version of Drax that look place in the Annihilation series. Yup Drax a.k.a. Arthur Douglas was killed by his own daughter Moondragon. Interestingly they both became members of the Infinity Watch led by Adam Warlock. Moondragon, a powerful telepath protected the Mind Gem. Drax was given the Power Gem which he swallowed thinking it was a jellybean. Thanos was also a secret member. It was a fun era and this 2-pack, despite Moondragon's wrong costume, hearkens back to it. You should try reading those runs. You might enjoy them.
Since it’s a Pulse Exclusive I really wish they would have kept Moondragon’s original outfit. Can’t corrupt children though apparently. Otherwise good looking set.
Wish your videos got more views and engagement. I like that you didn’t just nitpick and hate on this 2 pack. You really got into it, told us what you liked and didn’t and why. And it just all felt correct. Keep it up.

The head sculpt is amazing! Best baf head ever imo
F.Y.I., Kyle . . . After this version of DRAX defeated the THING for the U.C.W.F. (Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation) Championship, he personalized the title belt into what you see on his figure. Eventually, though, he lost it to Tryco Slatterus - the CHAMPION OF THE UNIVERSE - who still holds the title to this day! 😉
Great review of a great character by a great reviewer. Keep up the good work. Would have like seeing Drax compared to someone like Hulk but otherwise. Great job.
The first time I saw these characters was in an Avengers comic when I was a kid. I remember Moondragon seduced Thor and she killed Drax. And then I remember Wasp turning full size and punched her in the face. I should look up the issue.
I wasn't gonna give hasbro $70 for this 2 pack, including their taxes and shipping prices. Thankfully Amazon picked it up and got it for around $50+
The Drax heads remind me more of DC's Mongul.
