I too am a convert. And it was this convent of the world's dearest women who converted me. They did so by living love. It was by no intention greater than that.

I have had the honor of many times speaking with via phone or in person with these treasures of the St Cloud diocese and am always impressed by their bottomless charity and self-sacrificial demeanor. The simple beauty of their religious community that has kept the traditional cloistering and rule is a blessing and a breath of fresh air to all those who encounter it. These dear sisters will always have a special place in my heart and prayers.

My father's younger sister was a Sister of Saint Dorothy's sister.
She wore a full habit. She was very happy with her vocation. Taught in parochial schools.

I don't know much about poor Clares, as Ive followed dominicans, Franciscans and especially carmelites, but when I see anyone answer the call to any of them orders, it always brings the biggest smile to my face weather Im having a good day or not.

But also receiving the Black Veil.☆ God knew that you had a Vocation to Religious Life- Poor Clares Collettines (St. Collette- St. Clare's 'daughter').
I discerned with the Poor Clares in Aptos, CA back in 1998 for 2 months (live in Aspirant). I wanted to enter there, as I felt the calling. But I've got Epilepsy and they call that a 'hindrance'. The Sisters have moved in with the other PCC's in Los Altos, CA. ♡Immaculate Heart Monastery. ♡
