The little destroying montage at the end proves that Choopo doesn’t own a sledge hammer which is very reassuring knowing how much of a threat to society he is.

all it proves is that he doesn't need a sledge hammer. he doesn't need an axe. he doesn't need anything else. he can tear people apart with his bare hands, and if that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will.

1) I think Cavity Sam's real problem isn't that he has all these objects inside him, it's that he has all these cavities in his body that _let_ that stuff get in there. The reason you don't have to pull back the skin is because Cavity Sam is full of these abnormal cavities and it's really disturbing.
2) It was nice to see you made a speedy recovery and were able to be taken off of all that medical equipment early on in the video.
This would also explain why he seems genuinely terrified by the X-ray but not by having things surgically removed from his body while he's awake

I would like to add Operation Rescue Kit.
I owned the game as a kid and it adds a new mechanic to the game where you have to pump oxygen if Sam's heart rate gets too fast. There were other stuff too but the biggest reason I wanted it was for it's portability; it could fold up to look like an actual first aid kit, however the implications that Sam is still in it is horrifying.

That reaction to when you hit the side and it buzzes is so accurate. In my memory, that noise is the loudest, scariest noise in my mind.
Ah Operation, I don’t think I ever played that myself growing up but I do remember owning a game like that (I don’t think it was licensed by Hasbro but it was the same premise) as a kid. It was called Alien autopsy and the same mechanics applied, removing pieces from a dead alien and having to be careful to not hit the edges. Except instead of the buzzer nose going off the alien would scream so I guess it wasn’t actually dead like the name implied.
It was terrifying enough for a four year old, but our copy was a bit broken and if it was on it would sometimes scream on its own.

That sounds like a cool idea for a game, the alien is presumed to be dead and then it screams. If someone ever made a new version of that, maybe that alien could also pop up just to scare the players even more
You know that things are really awkward when the best Operation iteration is a licensed crossover with Doc McStuffins of all things.

The homer one is the definitive best one because he has voice lines and screams in pain when he gets zapped.
Also the art was good. and it had a little draw under the board to keep the pieces in.
The Homer one simply looked better. Theyre both cartoony but for some reason cavity Sam just looks weird, while Homer actually seems natural. Though this may be pure nostalgia talking since the Homer version is the only one i ever played.

YES I WAS OBSESSED WITH DOC MC STUFFINS AS A KID!!! I had that operation game! I was so obsessed that I put bandaids on all my build a bears and when I tried to take them off, it pulled the fur off so they had a few bald spots but after the first one I decided to leave the bandaids on because it looked nicer. I vividly remember going into Walgreens to get a first aid kit and seeing a trailer for the alpha and omega movies on one of the tvs, I later ended up watching all of them and boom I was a little furry doctor.
(Also it’s a miracle I don’t read omegaverse like thank heavens I haven’t reached that point)

I have a Tow Mater operation game from when Cars 2 came out. I have many memories abusing that game. The buzzer was the noise the tractors make when they tip over. It was a jump scare every time.

There’s one piece of Operation media that I find very lacking: the Operation computer game.
In the game, you get to work on multiple patients with multiple doctors. These patients include an astronaut, a cowboy, a werewolf, an elephant, several dinosaurs and more.
Each doctor has a different gimmick besides classic operation: eg. the space doctor has a nanobot you control by shrinking down. The dinosaur doctor has the doctor supposedly go inside the dinosaur’s stomach and cure them with a fire extinguisher.
Also Cavity Sam is shown to vibrate vigorously when his nose lights up. Make that what you will about how this adds to Operation lore.
I had the Shrek operation growing up and it is hands down the best version
