The music really ruined this part for me. I don’t think skaters should be making decisions when it comes to the editing process. Leave it to the filmers and editors. They have been making skate videos for a long time. Picking the right music for an edit and putting it all together is what they do. Skaters should be able to give input but the editor should make the final decision. Just like how the skater may get input from the filmer for what tricks to do at a certain spot, but the skater is the one skating so that is their decision.
Emmett Garnes he edited his OWN part. So, he IS the editor. It’s safe to assume HE picked the music. And the editing was on point. Most of us just don’t enjoy this style of music. I won’t even call it rap.

DJ KHALED because the skaters aren’t always present in the post production process. Jaimie Thomas, iirc, used to pick the whole soundtrack for Zero vids. Cuz he’s in charge. I’d personally love to have skaters pick their own music but sometimes the music just doesn’t fit the edit.
