First time seeing you here. Liked your video and your subtle humor. I like watching Mathew, but have ever made anything he shares, for this reason....lol!
Thank you! Yea, I've enjoyed all of his videos. Taken inspiration. But to date, I've tried 3 or 4 projects of his, and none of them sell in my area. Usually, it ends up being firewood :/
CZcams decided to suggest your channel to me this morning so this is my first time watching your videos. I like the deadpan approach. I was wondering if all the sawdust everywhere was a subtle attempt at humorous irony. You have a nice overarm dust collection set up on your table saw yet, sawdust covers everything.
I'm a fan of Matthew Peech and I adopted his approach as well. So far, so good, so don't give up.
Thank you, and no for the sawdust. My dust collector is pretty weak, and it doesn't seem to be able to utilize the overarm specifically. That and I sometimes just don't feel like moving it around, so I dont hook it up. One day I'll have it all fixed in place
Just joined your channel and don't give up on your product because time of year means everything. I just did a craft show with wood projects and things I thought for sure wood sell didn't but did alright overall. Thanks for video
Hey, thank you for the reassurance! Don't worry, I won't be giving up any time soon. I'm just getting started.
nice video. i have had an etsy shop since last fall. It's been an adventure. Often, I think, this will sell, but doesn't.
Yea , I actually keep meaning to close mine down. I don't want to get hit by a random order and not have motivation to fulfill it
@RisingSawWoodworking packing boxes, tape etc adds up.
Hey everyone, I'm calling this new method of filming, "the tea corner" what do you all think about this video vs previous ones?
I love these rough around the edges kind of videos.
I got on a kick of watching any videos from creators like you that have tried making and selling smalls that Matthew Peech has featured in his videos. The common theme is lack of sales, I think this is due to the choice of products and the scale of the production.
Instead of making the simplest of products, like these shelves, try making several different products to reach a wider audience and increase chances of finding a good selling product.
I took this exact approach in my most recent video. 5 types of book page holders.
Hi Patrick, I enjoyed watching. - different but good
Thanks for the feedback, im still trying to figure out the style.
I may regret this. But if you're interested in buying one of these. I dropped a link in the description. Please dont buy like 500...
Thanks
No problem
I made a couple hundred of these once. I think I sold 3 of them.
Haha, sorry. Yea it took me a while to sell the first 10. I feel it's one of those items.. to try get a store deal. Impulse by, lots of people were like I want one! But never responded afterwards
Switch from bits to sawdust. There was a whole video about how they used to add it to bread dough, and the proportions before it became noticeable 😋
That's a good idea. 👍
It's basically one of the ways to make "diet" bread.
one of my favorites.

I've made many Smalls that Peach has promoted and sold NONE!
I've seen this comment quite a few times. Defenitly do tests.
Sorry they didn't sell and your kids new router bit diet, but I did enjoy your video!
Well you know what. Beggars can't be choosers. ;) /s
I was dying laughing this was great
But I hope you get em all sold!
Please don't die.. :)
Router Bits and Countersink Bit in the Description both have the same link
And fixed. Not an affiliate link. But it's a link.
What color stain did you use?
Minwax dark walnut
You funny! Huh, ahuh.
😀
Time to call your old boss
Well I've sold 3.. so were well on the way now!
So no market for two pieces of wood screwed together. Who would have known!
Actually, there is quite a bit of a market for it. The marketplace in my area just gets flooded with very similar things. And I only have 2 left now. :) just takes some time.
A few weeks forward he is making a killing! Nice job @risingsawwoodworking
