I am one of those people you talk about who hate to cover up whole pieces of patterned paper. Lol. I am still having to learn to give myself permission to do that because I always feel like I'm wasting so much and yet you're right I have enough paper to go around the world 3 times I'm sure. Thanks for sharing so much of your thought process as you work! I especially loved how you explained why the dragon was placed right were it was, including avoiding the odd picture space on the other side. Very helpful!!!
Love the layered look! I would probably die cut out some of the paper that is wasted under the layers for later use . Also not use the full 12x12 if covering half of it. That would give me another page worth of paper! Yes, there's always more paper but not when you're on a budget!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about scrapbooking pages layouts try Jadonite Amazing Scrap Ideas Buddy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.

It is a shame that AC is not going to have any more lines from her. They should have renewed her. She is one of the few that actually makes layouts. Some of them only make one simple one to introduce their line.
also if you don't want to waste cut it to a faux layer. ;)
It drives me crazy when people waste patterned paper. You could have put BOTH patterns on a plain cheap white page at 6x12 pieces and still had a half sheet of the arrows.
I enjoyed your video, but using the white paper on a white background is hard on my eyes.
It looks nice but I find it an unnecessary waste of paper!
I just don't understand why you would cut full sheets when you can buy scraps the size you want. I save my pretty patterns for the main attraction and use scraps or plain for stacking
What a waste of paper... it's a nice job but you can create the same effect just cutting lines of papers...
