    Love Shimelle’s layouts and collections, I’m sad to hear she won’t be creating more collections. She is the very best at creating fun, whimsical collections that are so useable for boy and girl layouts!

  • @clairecharmassonarmstrong1560

    Such a fun and bright page! You can always count on Shimelle to provide clear and inspiring explanations of her process for building a simple, yet wonderfully detailed and colourful scrapbook page. Hope to see more videos like this for her future collections.

    The orange word on the red paper is almost invisible. It would have been helpful if the orange word had the option of having a light colored shadow.

      I bet it’s a lot more legible in real life; it’s probably just reading that way on camera. Shimelle’s a pro - she wouldn’t mess that up ;)

    Nice to hear the more correct term "London, England" rather than the usual, lazy and less accurate "London, UK"!

    • @scrapbook

      Hi Cynthia! Scrapbook.com is indeed in Arizona - Shimelle Laine calls England home and came to the U.S. to film this class at Scrapbook.com!

    I appreciate and agree with your layout concept as a design layout explanation but your execution misses the mark. I would suggest color choices and paper patterns that compliment the photo. instead of overpowering the focal point.

  • @oLi102
    @oLi102 Před 3 lety

    I don‘t feel like the photo is the center of attention here. 1. It’s too small (compred to to the title grouip and the journalling card); 2, all three groups are too crammed together that I don‘t know where my eyes should rest on. End up my eyes rested on the empty space.

      This is very much in her unique style ... but also follows several design “rules”, like the rule of thirds and the visual triangle. Have you ever watched any of her videos on her own channel?
