The Trofeo Cinquecento throws up more issues...but its nearly there

- The Trofeo engine has seemingly never ran quite properly and defintely hasn't felt as quick as it should given it'd spec.... but I THINK I've finally worked out the biggest issue with it.

excellent compression test result though.. but little tip, next time just take all the plugs out and hold the throttle wide open then turn engine over.. It spins much free'er, less strain on the battery and start etc
You measured the return side of the TB regulator. Try to add the gauge to the other line.
Thanks..yeah I think I'm too used to fitting these to cars with a fuel rail and running it after the injectors...thankfully it was pointed out by another person too so measured it on the feed side...the regulator still didn't seem to do anything as the pressure stayed the same no matter how I adjusted it. So I'll leave the adjustable one on for now👍

Hey man, shame you got rid of the turbo cinq, yeah was just a cinq but a one off with story and character, much more interesting than what everyone else is/has been doing on CZcams.
Don't understand why people go from a practically limitless potential turbo car (should money be no object) to N/A tho.
Thanks mate..the switch to a non turbo cinq was just for a break and something more single that could take a hammering with less stress on the engine...its not to say I'll be staying n/a or even with this cinq for long though..its just nice to have a change
so your pressure test - measure it on the in to the throttle body not after.. the reg is holding pressure upstream of it not after
See I did wonder if it needed to be before the tb...I've only ever fitted these to mpi engines with fuel rail
