I was disappointed Ms. Nettleton did not win the Emmy for In The Heat of the Night. One of my favorite shows and wished she stayed on throughout the entire series.

I saw Lois Nettleton on The Pyramid show. I watched that show many times and she was a talented player.
She had an uncanny ability to act a fantasy and reality at the same. She was a truly brilliant actress.

This is a wonderful tribute to Lois Nettleton, a favorite actress of mine. I thought she was excellent in an innovative TV show about women running the world while men were in a subservient role. I wish I could remember the name of that TV show. I think it ran for one season.
Lois is from a time when you had to be talented as well as beautiful in order to be famous. That woman had my hind leg thumping on the floor in that "Queen of Spain" episode (I sure envied Martin Milner and wondered how he kept his cool in some of those closeup). Damn near did me in when she showed up all hot and sweaty in "Midnight Sun" (almost had to call the guys with the paddles). Boy, I do miss her.
