Never in my life have I heard the word Hysteresis and I'm sure I'm not alone. Have no clue what it means. Yes you tell how to set it but never tell what it is or does and why you would want to use it. You just assume everybody knows what Hysteresis means. Thanks for the video.

Great little thermostat for the money. One question, can I extend the wire on the probe, even if I have to recalibrate the reading?
In case anyone is looking for this, you can stop. It doesn't exist. No longer availible from the manufacturer. I'm in the process of making one that uses an esp32, oled display and dallas temp sensor.
Do you or does anyone else know if the "high-temperature alarm" can be switched to be used as a LOW-temperature alarm instead?

I'm looking for a transparent plastic cover to enclose this unit (protecting it from being bumped) and to serve as a way to mount it to the outside of my container. Does anyone know off something that would serve this function?
It has full memory function.
