I love how you can see the drummer holding back through the first half before letting it all out in an epic display, looks chaotic but every note is right where it should.
How can you give 2 thumbs down for such a masterpiece composition AND performance, I really don't understand....There is something of the greatness of J.S. Bach here for me (the bridge "à la The Art of Fugue"), no less than that imho....
@mrjoe27 at 1:57 you'll see the saxophone player adjust his mic and you'll actually hear it in the video. they are quite small so it is tough to see them throughout the video
@Periphery830 i hate to break it to you four years on, but they aren't singing that. as much as i wish they were. Its programming identical from the album. I'm assuming the mic you see lars with is for his bass clarinet. I don't think he plays a sax on this song
Jaga, you pretty much changed my life with this song, I want you to know that.

ORIGINAL!!!! THe Radjo Jead of Jazz. Love this 1000%!
I wept with delight when I witnessed this played at the Astoria - now some years ago...
Gorgeous.
Every week i have another favorite song from Jaga Jazzist. The true mark of a great band.
cant believe that crescendo. this band is so amazing.
If I ever get to hear this live I think I might just melt into a puddle of joy on the floor...
I would crap my pants if I heard 1:54 for the first time ever live. Jesus, it gave me chills through a youtube video.
"The talents are strong in these ones"
Amazing! One of the best tracks I've heard in years. Bravo!

the last 2 mins.. mind blowing!
My orchestra conductor passed away few days ago... i played clarinette there. Anyway - this song is the first thing that i thought about... :/
Sublime, Fantastique!
Extremely amazing.
Awesome!
It sounds even better than album version
why can't i meet people like this to play with!!
so amazinly beautiful...gives me the creeps :)
outstanding piece
Same thing here too ! Trough the whole vocal part I was chilled ! Not that it did end when instruments came to picture. Especially around 6:45 .
Otherworldly.
Это Боги,на Земле!
man I always thought that vocal part was programmed... so organic yet so on point
i think the vocal part is still in playback. anyway, a masterpiece
masterpiece

The acapella part is exactly like on the album... I don't think they're actually singing that part.
counter points are awesome!
Perfectly constructed desorder. Beutiful anarchy
so they are actually singing that?! unfuckingbelievable
@ 7:45 haha they've got a microkorg- they're everywhere!

@Periphery830 Not that I don't believe you, but at what point during the video do you see the mics?
It might be a good idea to send them an e-mail.
USA Please!
