I was waiting in court and someone told the judge they'd be representing themselves. The judge asked if he was sure he wanted to do that. The accused said something to the affect of I'm positive. The judge immediately replied with how its great that you can be positive and dead wrong at the same time.

I was in court waiting to sign and this dude I was in there with (who was about to sign for 30 years) got up and started singing his own song and danced to it while still in shackles and the judge let him finish. The judge just said “I’m gonna give you contempt of court but I really don’t think you care at this point” and just started laughing

Here in the wonderful city Lansing, MI, they had lots of potted plants throughout the courthouse that had to be removed because people would come to court with all sorts of drugs and hide em in the potted plants in case they were remanded to jail. They'd have someone else come up later and pick em up. Crazy.

Zachary Laid Finding Freedom way over 90% of the people in prison are guilty (most on non violent drug charges). Were never gonna have a 100% right conviction rate but we can get close to that if we put up cameras literally everywhere and on everyone and a microphone along with the cameras.

I've always thought the judicial system is absurd. Those involved and impacted have very little understanding of the language and proceedings. Those who do, still don't even know how many laws are on the books. You're not a sovereign citizen though, I know. You just work there.

My grandmother attempted to sign (ASL) to myself and another family member. The judge ordered her to stop. She continued and was placed in a “time out”. The court officer turned her to a wall and she had to stand facing it. 😂😂😂

When I was younger I got in trouble and I was sent to court and the penalty I got was that I had to attend school at all times and not to skip a single class or I'd go to the young people prison. And that was the best thing that had ever happened to my life 😊
