But here is my paraphrasing it: “In order to end physical violence on this Planet, we must end the passive violence we perpetrate through violent thoughts and emotions that we project onto ourselves or others, for example; I’m not good enough, they aren’t good enough, I’m ugly, they are ugly, I hate myself, I hate them, I am worthless, they are worthless, etc.”
@@cornflowermusic yes (I was thinking of a different quote) but now that you mention it while I was practicing yamas niyamas thought violence, especially to myself was the vice I found the hardest to keep in check. Thank you. What you said was something to the degree if you pray for peace, all that is still not peaceful will come up (it is basically the same thing - but the message struck a cord with me) I will try to paraphrase in the art description.
