  • After a week and a half off with the flu, I started working on reinstalling the blower and injection hat. Hoping to have all the winter projects completed by the end of February so we can attend the 2024, "Run To The Sun Show"
March 14th,15th, and 16th at Myrtle Beach S.C.

I love this car. Great work on a ridiculous ride, a real beast.

Nice to see her getting put backed together. Martin I've learned alot about alcohol engines from you thank you for your videos. You sound bad though I hope you get better.

i am in the process of messing with a bbf 528 with a 14-71 blower on alcohol as well. it was all up and running beforehand in a funny car . looking at setting it p for water cooled block as he had no cooling system on it . i see you used flanges and elbow going to a remote water pump . what pump did you use? mine is setup with a 44 mag and drive for that not sure if i will keep it or go to a distributer you notice any problems with the flame not being hot enough on methonal with a distributer? you running a billet cran and aluminum rods in the bottom ? or like a real good oliver steel rod?how is it too tune the injector portion or is it a set it and forget it kinda thing ? thanks

I'm running a Meziere remote water pump and changed all the fittings to AN fitting. No trouble with a distributer. I'm running 4340 H beam rods and crank. Built it to show but wanted that blown alcohol sound. The MFI is tricky to run on the street. If you tune for HP it will be spraying fuel idling. If you tune it to idle no HP. It's like on or off. EFI would work a lot better on the street.
      Appreciate the comment.

What Ford block did you use? What cubic inch? What HP is the engine now? Thanx...

A 1970 Ford 460 block that been bored and stroked to 545cu. Kaase SR71 heads. TBS 8-71blower and Enderle MFI on Methanol. Never been on a Dyno. Detuned for the street we are guessing around 1200hp. Thanks,
Hope to see your project on the road soon.
