This year the Voice has the BEST judges ever. They are professional, polite and respectful of each other. A pleasant change from previous years.

You can tell that was not planned because Jessica's reaction as soon as she turned, she was in shock and disbelief. Loved it and i could feel how genuinely proud she was at that moment. Beautiful moment for her family ❤💛🖤

Funny how it was all about the voice. But they seem to have the same clothes on during the 5 episodes.
This tells me that they already know that the best singers are going to get put on first.
So in a way the show already knows how's the best singers by the way they edit it. And pick the best singers to go in.
The drama of the pushing the button is the only thing this show has for it, and people can't even see thro that.
Free TV is set up so much that dam a show like big brother is more real.

I know some on social media have criticized allowing judge family members on the voice. BUT if you have the talent that shouldn't be an obstacle. That young girl definitely has the TALENT to qualify for the voice! Any blind audition singer who gets a 3 chair turn deserves to be there!
I agree… maybe should have a different coach, but that shouldn’t preclude them from competing.

As soon as she saw her niece Jess looked straight over to see her family knowing that if her niece was here then her family would be also. Awesome moment.
I thought she was looking over to her family to verify that she was truly seeing her niece up there.
Jess must be so proud to have her family represented so strong by the next generation. A mothers sisters are the closest extended family a person can have in some places. I wonder if Jess` niece calls her mummy?

@@nankavanagh It is a cultural thing. It is only your mothers sisters you can claim this relationship too, not your fathers. Sisters are considered in some places to `share` one womb. All the children of sisters can call any one of their maternal aunts mother. Its a fairly common cultural structure in NT indigenous communities. The Mauboys come from the NT and i was just curious if they observed the custom in their family. Its essentially a closer relationship along the maternal line and is important in defining a lot of broader cultural relationships including the country you belong to.

What a reaction. She was well and truly shocked but so proud of her and the way she was talking to the family after and Rita too. She's just an amazing person. Sharaya though. What a performance. That was something incredible. Potential winner there i think.

I think that some of the auditions are scripted but this looks a legit surprise. Maybe Guy was aware so that at least she would get a chair turn but Jess's and Rita's reactions were priceless. I think Rita is hands down the best judge The Voice has had. She handled this moment perfectly.

I just didn't like Rita saying, "no wonder she can sing like that," after finding out it was Jess's niece. I mean I know that it wasn't meant as an insult or anything, but it could have come off as her being Jess's niece is the only reason she can sing. Just my opinion.
