The healthcare system across the whole world need improvement. In North America all when you go for appointment 8am you don't get through until 10am or later. If you go hospital, prepare to wait at least two hours or more too. It ruff ruff!
I work in Washington DC Medstar Hospital Center in the PreOp area to get Patients prepared for surgery. The gentleman was correct 👍🏾 about explaining the reason that patients should not eat before any surgery. I will continue to pray 🙏🏾. It appears that he is in great hands right now. Stay blessed
Most emergency room is a slow process. There is a triage process and that determines how quick you are going to be seen. Plus they have to get the Doctor who specializes in that field. Sometimes they don’t even have many doctors on duty and the one that is needed is at home and needs to be called in. Anyhow I’m glad Climber was admitted they will give him medicine for the pain. Colaz, the system in Jamaica socks. It's the same way in St. Ann's Bay Hospital. My mom had to sleep in a wheelchair for 2 days in the emergency room, after she finally got a bed we went back to visit her, her finger was broken and taped up, no one knew how it happened and she couldn't get out of bed on her own. It's sad. I'm a diabetic and scared to go spend time in Jamaica because of I get sick, I do not want to go to that hospital. Honestly it's all about the status & the salary, not the care/service. The majority of medical professionals just don't care about the patients. I'm in New York & our emergency rooms are always packed & you can expect to be there waiting for a while. Unless you come in in an ambulance. Then you get brought in and put in to an exam room right away. Some hospitals are worse than others. Unfortunately, the insurance companies are dictating the services that are rendered to a patient instead of what is in the best interest of the persons medical needs. My point is that the health care system around the world needs major improvements. I'm praying for Climer! I hope he feels better soon!

This reminds me of when my son got admitted in the spalding hospital he got burn over he’s heart area an they treat him like animal big up to the one or two that treat him good me always pray for the two that treat him good could have there hours in the night so me no haffi fret cause me know those two love him ,,when he got transferred to Kingston after 4 weeks the nurse them at children at the burn unit treat him so good not to mention the doctors my son even call one of the doctors he’s girl just to show u how they love the kids that was there ,,he was still afraid of dressing the cut up there because the first hospital traumatize him but they work with him an every thing was okay after two weeks ,some of the nurses them fi go work with lion an tiger fi true cause them come a work with them problem an Gwn like them better than ppl
So sad that ppl only get into certain profession for the money that they make and not because that's what they love... that nurse needs to be reported and her superiors need to make sure that their staff is doing the job that they're paid for. Healthcare is very expensive in Jamaica. Healthcare should not be giving according of who you are. We are all human and equal in the sight of God. Hope he'll get the right treatment and be on the road to recovery soon. 😢

Poor Climber. I had a small fish bone and it was very painful. It took almost two days to get it out. It will be painful when he swallows. It's stuck. Get him to eat a piece of bread to see if it will dislodge it. Hope they'll get it out soon.

Any bone can lodge in your throat. I remember taking some one to the hospital with a fish bone in her throat. They didn't see it, but i insisted. An intern came and sprayed some thing to deaden ita and there it was a thin long piece of bone. If he said he is feeling it, believe him, its there. 🙏🙏🙏

Sending prayers for healing. Anytime you swallow a bone eat a piece of bread immediately, if that don’t work go see a doctor. You have to eat slow , don’t eat so fast. I remember swallowing a fish bone when I was younger and my Mom gave me a piece of bread to eat and that worked but a chicken bone is very serious. Praying that they will be able to find that bone.

My mom was a Nurse for years, worked side by side the doctors in the theater. Growing up a lot of times eating fish or meat, bones would get caught in my throat and not move. My mom would give me a teaspoon of condense milk and that would allow the bone to slide down. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately the healthcare system is broken . Even in the USA as a nurse practitioner myself these public hospitals he can sit in the emergency room for days however he should’ve been seen about because the bone could’ve cut off his airway and the outcome could’ve been worse . I have to put my game face on when I’m in the hospital working . We don’t have a job unfortunately if a patient isn’t sick and dying . That’s crazy especially when it comes to a minor !! I’m upset about that Colaz . Communication is key and someone should keep you updated 😢

My mom was a Nurse for years, worked side by side the doctors in the theater. Growing up a lot of times eating fish or meat, bones would get caught in my throat and not move. My mom would give me a teaspoon of condense milk and that would allow the bone to slide down. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately the healthcare system is broken . Even in the USA as a nurse practitioner myself these public hospitals he can sit in the emergency room for days however he should’ve been seen about because the bone could’ve cut off his airway and the outcome could’ve been worse . I have to put my game face on when I’m in the hospital working . We don’t have a job unfortunately if a patient isn’t sick and dying . That’s crazy especially when it comes to a minor !! I’m upset about that Colaz . Communication is key and someone should keep you updated 😢
