- A comparison between the original BAL-27 from 2014 and the new BAL-27 from 2024. Apologies for the low quality video for the Modern Warfare 3 video. I couldn't get that grainy and blurry look off my game, even at maximum graphics.
People will force themselves to love the advanced warfare version because of how bad they hate mw3 when they were complaining about advanced warfare during it's time.

I mean in all fairness I genuinely did enjoy AW but the hate towards it when it wasn't even a bad game really made me believe at least 10 years down the line the tune would change

It’s been like that since ghosts. Every COD game that releases becomes the new worst COD game ever. (Even BO3 was hated or heavily disliked during its release, which is one of the few modern-ish COD games people like)

We now have 3 AW weapons in mwIII. The MORS, the Bal-27 & now the AMR9 with the 556 aftermarket part

I mean the AMR9 was already in the game and clearly was a reference to the AW one, but they actually made it a usable SMG in MW3, in fact it's pretty overpowered and acts more like an AR with SMG speed at times.

They're trying to be more in line with other shooters like Battlefield. I think the devs got hurt too many times by the "COD has no recoil" argument. BO1 and WAW beg to differ
But to be fair, visual recoil is way more dramatic than actual recoil. It's extremely easy to control.
Its so you have to grind the guns to make them viable in warzone, if the guns were great stock then there would be no incentive to buy blueprints to skip the grind 💀
modern CoD also has insane amounts of '' aim assist'' so recoil isnt as much of a problem when crosshairs lock on to players heads

Interesting fact about the bal-27 in advanced warfare, if you fire 1 bullet at a time, it sounds more like a sniper than an AR

One thing about AW is how good the art style was. The graphics look so good in an era of where 2014 titles look awkward from back then.
I would rather have a Playable game rather than a buggy shit mess nowadays

Not really, most games from 2014 aged well in terms of graphics. Cod, BF4, Killzone, Shadow of Mordor, Dragon Age Inquisition
I almost forgot that AW actually had the rapid reload where you just drop the entire mag to load a new one quicker. Got me killed a few times, ngl
yeah, it was a pretty cool idea. it would’ve been cool to see it appear in other cods

apparently Sledgehammer’s next game in 2027 is going to be a sequel to Advanced Warfare. it’s just an idea, but considering how much they’ve suggested it and how many references to AW they’ve been making, i wouldn’t be surprised if they make a sequel
@@jimmyneutron9144the fact there are rumours that we’d get a sequel to AW before Ghosts is really depressing… if it’s any COD game that deserves a sequel it’s that.
@@Squiddy-go1du yeah. Ghosts’ campaign requires a sequel because of that ending, meanwhile AW’s campaign had a proper ending that doesn’t really need a sequel. don’t get me wrong, i’d love a sequel for either game, but Ghosts deserves one more

Bunch of nostalgic people in the comments, MW3 is up to modern standards animation and sound design wise while Advanced Warfare’s is nice but definitely dated, it’s been like 10 years
It's not really modern standards, AW animations were completely fine and great for the arcade style of old CoDs, now the more recent cod animations are leaning into weightier, realisk style of animation, it just looks unnatural on the bal and moars cause their idle pose is different and the alternate perspective doesn't make it look like a Bal

Aw reload animation is better than an already reload animation gun from another gun that has that same reload animation like the p950 gun I think
One of my favourite made up weapons. The name and the sound + how the weapon sounded like (In AW of course)
I keep saying this is a futuristic P90, it reloads like a P90 and looks like a P90
I dont know if people still play aw on PlayStation or pc i want to get back into the game but it will be hard to get back variants weapons again
i dont see why mw3's bal27 is hated. It doesn't fit with the rest of the game, yes, but fuck it looks cool

I like the mesh design more in AW than MW3

Everything is better in mw3 except the sound.I know technically the mw3 one is more realistic but the sound for it in AW is very nostalgic.Wish they gave us options 😔

It is technically a Submachine Gun, it's in 5.7 like the P90 and AR57.
It's in the assault rifle category presumably because the original was, or because Sledgehammer has no idea what guns are and how terms are defined. Probably both.
@@getthegoonsSledgehammers design inaccuracies aren't out of stupidity (mostly) but artistic choices and a move away from realistic depictions of weapons.

@@getthegoons The game was set in 2054, it was entirely artistic choices, otherwise it would just be boring and ininspired. COD is definitely not the only game to make ARs that look like SMGs.

The MW3 versions of AW weapons are lacking in swag. What made the MORS unique and powerful feeling was the animation of putting a new bullet in the chamber after each shot. It felt powerful and looked cool. Now thats gone and its made the weapon feel bland imo

to be honest, i really don’t know. when i recorded the video, i was super confused because it recorded at some super low ass framerate, the video was all stuttering and it also reduced the sharpness and quality of the game drastically for some reason. i was pretty pissed cause this had never happened to me before. i wanted to re-record it but i never ended up doing it cause it was like 1:00 in the morning. maybe i’ll remake the video or something cause i was very disappointed with how it came out

I haven't played the old cods the first cod i played was infinite warfare and then black ops 4 and up And now mw3 the new one its a great game but the Thick sbmm and the mediocre skins ruined it... That's modern day gaming unfortunately 😔
