  • Want to get flexible ? I got youu! My favourite stretches for beginners are in this daily FLEXIBILITY routine and I challenge to do it for the next 21 days! If you are inflexible or would really want to improve your flexibility, this stretching routine is for you!
    These flexibility stretches are going to help you increase your mobility during your workouts and become more flexible!

    Stretching is very important to make sure your muscles recover and you feel more relaxed! This will help your cortisol levels decrease and therefore reduce stress in your life! Amazing right? You will also enjoy the benefit of an increased range of motion, which will give you the ability to perform exercises that require more flexibility during your workouts!
    These exercises are beginner friendly and for anyone that wants to further improve their flexibility with this challenge! The most important is to be consistent, for us stay together during the challenge, encourage each other to dedicate only 20 mins per day to our flexibility for the next 21 days!
    Don't worry if you can't perform the stretches like I show you in this video, do your best during this flexibility routine and you will get there if you keep practicing!

    As a recently retired firefighter, I've always kept up with the weight training and cardio but I haven't stretched in 30+ years. I've had lower back problems, aching and stiff joints and it was taking me a ½ hour to ”get moving” when I got out of bed each morning. I decided to search for a stretching routine for beginners / inflexible people. There are hundreds of routines by a myriad of different instructors but I came across this 21-day Challenge by Miss Suarez. The stretches were very basic yet practical and the routine is only 20 minutes, which by the way passes very quickly. I recently finished the Challenge. I wasn't expecting any “miracles” going into it. For example, for a guy who could hardly reach his knees, in 21 days I still cannot touch my toes though I am to lower shins. My flexibility has improved greatly and the almost immediate benefit I felt from doing the stretches came in the mornings. When I wake up, I am not stiff and achy. It no longer takes me ½ hour “to get moving”. This has been a tremendous gain in my opinion. I am in the process of starting the Challenge again. Thank you, Miss Suarez!!! What a game changer!! You've really helped me a lot!!

    Today was day 15 for me - I’m 64 years old. I checked out several videos before I chose yours, and love that A) you don’t talk on and on at the beginning, nor do you talk at all during the workout (although you have a beautiful voice), B) you use gestures to remind us to keep our shoulders down, point our toes, etc., C) have a countdown audio cue and visual “next up” exercise - it really helps me stay on point, and D) you don’t show off while we’re doing the exercises. Yes, there’s no doubt you can bend much farther on many of them (especially the legs) but you’re kind to us beginners who can barely bend towards our toes and instead give us - what I would guess - is a goal to reach for. This is SO appreciated! Nothing worse than watching an expert who does a beginner video but shows what the pros look like - that can truly be disheartening and can make a beginner like me actually feel worse about myself and the shape I’m in. The exercises are getting a little easier and I’ve even noticed a difference in my waistline and thighs - my jeans are fitting better!! No doubt I’ll continue past the 21 days, and once I feel I’ve really progressed I look forward to trying out the “intermediate” stretch video. I do beginning yoga every week, too, and many of the stretches you do are in my yoga program. I sent this to my yoga instructor she also loves it and thought it was a perfect addition to our sessions. I’d give this a perfect “10” if I could 😊. Thank you!

    I'm on month 3 of doing this routine. When I started, everything was so difficult, but I felt so good afterwards. 3 mos. later, I'm doing this routine along with several others, able to touch my toes and do movements I never thought possible! Thank you for starting off my flexibility journey right!

    I am 58 years young. Recovering from an auto accident. My daughter showed me this video and I follow along with it every day.
    I can feel my energy moving through my body as I'm following this routine. It's amazing. I love how I feel, I feel beautiful and stronger each day. And now I'm walking for half an hour after stretching. I'm taking time to live. I've told all my neighbors about it. I gave them a link to this video. I can tell which ones are following, because we have all made changes in our careers and health goals. We feel better, and want more progress in all parts of our lives. Thank you so much, Daniela

    Update: 3 months after my previous comment, and I'm still doing this routine 2-3 times per week. It has done wonders to my back pain too, because I have a desk job. Doing this routine before or after office releases all the tightness in my muscles so much, making the rest of the day/night, far better and less painful and stiff.
    Plus, I find the music very calming and positive too.

    Depression hit me hard over the last few years and I've felt lost trying to find a way back into working my body comfortably as it is now. This was comfortable in so many ways, from the music, the presentation, being able to just focus on myself without a constant voice grabbing my attention, being easy to follow, and even the silent "you good?" glances given to the camera. Day 1 down and I look forward to doing it again tomorrow.

      I have not worked out for the last nearly 20 years from my teens. A great work out put together and it kept my focus.I am taking the 21 days challenge so day 1 done i will comeback with more comments on how it’s going.

    Goal: Touch my toes without pain while standing.
    To be able to split.
    Day 3: My stretch is deeper. I’m also closer to my toes than in day 1.
    Day 4: I marked my floor with chalk to show I deep my stretches get. I’ve now passed that mark. Today’s stretch had some pain because my stretches got deeper. Had to keep reminding myself to breathe. When I breathe properly, my muscles relax into the stretch more.
    Day 5: seems like I got stiffer. My muscles were hurting. Couldn’t stretch properly.
    Day 6: You guys!!! I touched my toes during the wide right/left leg stretch💃🏾💃🏾 OMG! I also noticed that I felt less pain when I had a mind-muscle connection. I would caress the muscle being stretched and encourage it to push further. Sounds crazy but it actually worked. Breathing properly during the stretches helped too!
    Day 7: don’t stretch on cold muscles. My muscles were stiff from the cold this morning so the stretches were painful. 😩
    Day 14: I’m definitely more flexible in my legs. Those hamstrings stretches be trying my limits but I try to breathe through the pain and push myself. Doesn’t always work out and I just end up stopping that particular stretch altogether 😂😂
    Day 17: I’M SO GASSED! MY FOWARD LEG STRETCH IS FINALLY REACHING MY ANKLES! I’m close to touching my toes and laying on my legs. Ouuuuuuu💃🏾💃🏾

    I am on day 9 of the 21 day challenge and literally said "oh my god!" Outloud. To myself. Because I did the forward fold and my hands reached right down to my feet!! Holy cow!     I was once a flexible cheerleader, and a very flexible 40+, but now at 57 after falling several times on ice, down stairs, and multiple auto accidents, I need to start from scratch. This routine is perfect to help me get back into the groove. Today marks day #1. Thanks

    Love this routine. I’ve been doing it consistently for 14 days so far and so pleased with the results. On day 1 I couldn’t even sit up without leaning back on the sofa and I couldn’t sit back on my heels to do tricep stretches as feet hurt so much. I’m doing them all now and every day get a little easier. The hamstring one hurts the most but I’m doing it. Thank you so much for this challenge and love the music and that you not talking through it ❤️

      In our world where we sit so much, hamstrings really are the tightest muscles for most people. Hamstrings and hips and maybe chest. When I started stretching a long time ago, the first two muscle groups were by far the most difficult to stretch.

      I've found using a foam roller really helps if you haven't tried one. Working out the knots in my muscles helps me get a more comfortable/deeper stretch I feel like.

      I feel you on not being able to sit on the heels!! I hated that part when I first started. It felt like my knees were gonna pop in half. I’m on day 8 and I can now almost comfortably sit on them!! The hamstrings still hurt but I also learned how to actually stretch them comfortably and now I can have my legs flat on the floor without my knees bending during forward fold and forward stretch!! I’m excited to see where I end on the 21st day and I hope to continue it till I can reach my toes!

    True flexibility beginners like me can't do any wide leg sitting poses, I literally would need someone to push me forward from behind to feel any stretch because my body just can't get to that position and hold it. Even if my legs aren't wide at all, there's just too much inflexible muscle resistance to get into the position. So I just have to skip those parts or try to find modifications because I can't make any progress with them

    Can’t believe I completed this challenge !! I slipped off a little bit hehe and it took me 4 weeks instead of 3 weeks. but seriously it has been so so helpful. I never really took stretching seriously and completing this showed me how important and crucial it is for my body. Ohh and I am for sure more flexible I mean it’s very insignificant and small progress but hey it is progress. Looking forward to getting more flexible!! This was just like a kick start for me.     OMG 😳, I didn’t realise how bad my body had tightened up 🤦🏻‍♀️. This was a real eye opener for me as someone who used to do calisthenics as a kid and was quite flexible. I feel really good after doing this, and I’m committed to seeing what results I get in 21 days. I’m no where near to touching my toes, so I’m hoping I can get a lot closer by the end 😁.

    day 1: i struggled for the most part 😭😭 was very relaxing tho
    day 2: most stretches were easier!! starting to get used to them and struggled less, i feel so much better after doing them too!

    day 3: my lil sis joined me today and we did the stretches together and it was really fun!! i feel like im doing better each day and im really happy!!
    day 4: I did a little better and i feel like im actually making progress!! this is actually so helpful!

    Omg. I’ve been doing this for 21 days (didn’t do it for like 4-5 days because I had covid) and now i can touch my feet !! I never could do that before, I am really not flexible, I can’t even do the cartwheel but this is amazing. I’ve been doing also bendy back exercises from Hannah McNulty channel. Thanks so much, it is so satisfying !!

    Day 14. Two-thirds of the way done toward completing this challenge.
    It's frustrating how I am sometimes resistant to doing the stretches, but, after I complete them, I feel better both physically and mentally (as I have completed something important).

    Did this in bed next to my cat since I don't have a yoga mat :) I didn't do the bicep stretches because my wrists are weak and I'm trying to strengthen them a different way. Regardless, this was very relaxing yet enough to challenge my hamstring limits! Definitely sticking with this!! Sometimes whenever you would smile at the camera, I'd smile too and it's a nice vibe, like being there in-person :) Thank you!!!

    This is a wonderful routine for anyone who, like me, is very INFLEXIBLE. I am going to turn 62 next month and I MUST start working on my flexibility so that I can start working on strengthening those muscles. It is NEVER TOO LATE! I have been doing the routine for only 2 days and I am already seeing subtle changes. I am going to see this through and will comment at the end of my 21 days. Don't waste any more time people.     Just found this and oh my word. I knew I wasn't limber, but didn't anticipate just how inflexible I have become. One of my goals for the year is to change that and this routine will undoubtedly help. I feel like I have been through the wringer on day one, though. It definitely highlighted some injuries I have been nursing after getting hit by two cars this past year as a pedestrian. I thought I was okay, but my left hip disagreed during this stretching session.

    I used to be so flexible. After I had a stroke, I went years without stretching. I found that I could do most of the positions still, but not with the ease that I used to do them. Also, I feel better after having done these exercises. Thank you.

    I started this challenge 2 and a half weeks ago, I have taken maybe 1-2 days rest between stretching with 3-6 days on stretching, it has really begun to help me start off my flexibility journey and I have come a long way since day 1.
    I still have a really long way to go and can't touch my toes yet and have some tight spots but proud of the achievements I have made so far.

    I consider myself flexible and this was still great. I love how the video is made. There's no talking. She motions you to do things like keep your back straight or your toes up. The music is perfect for the routine and it beeps a few seconds before she's switching to a different stretch. That way you don't always have to keep your eyes on the screen. I've done it only once but I'm sure I'll continue. I loved it.

    Love it when you post new stretching videos. If anyone is looking to become more flexible, trust me you will be after doing Daniela's stretch videos. Just stay consistent and you will get it.     I have major back and leg problems and I have to thank you, after doing this routine every day for about 2 months,the swelling on my feet has gone down massively and I can wear shoes I haven't worn for a good while, amazing 😍 xx

    WOW! This is one the BEST stretch exercises I've ever done! I was diagnosed with arthritis and even though I work on eating clean, I suffer from tightness in my muscles, especially in my hips. I was able to complete this exercise without feeling inept! 😀 I'm excited for the 21 day challenge! THANK YOU SOO MUCH DANIELA!!!

    I just finished the challenge! For me, though, it took about 40 days because it had been decades since I have stretched and I needed to take my time. At first I could barely bend at all. But over time I have seen great results. This is now a habit for life and I feel so much better! Thank you and see you in another video.

    I'm a big heavy metal guy that stays in shape but has terrible flexibility. Also likes Yoga but hates the newage hippie presentation of it. This video is the perfect middle ground for me. Straight and to the point, simple instructions, no rambling about energies and great background soundtrack that isn't fuckin windchimes and pan flute. Gonna keep doing this. Thank you.

    On day 19 I’m so grateful for your video. I’m 50 and haven’t done yoga in years I also had a knee replacement last year. I didn’t think I would be able to do yoga again but your stretching workout has really snapped by body back in to shape. I’ve started eating healthy too. Thanks so much!

    This was far and away the best stretching video I’ve done! I love that you don’t talk during the stretches, I find it distracting. The timer and the countdown timer are so helpful, I don’t have to strain to watch the screen to know when the next stretch is coming. The preview of the next stretch is helpful to know what’s coming next. Your hand motions help get the correct positioning. Your smiles and positive vibe are so encouraging!     You may have heard that it's never too late to start exercising. As a woman in her mid-60s, let me tell you it's never too EARLY to start exercising. I'd read books, articles, etc. about exercising, and I would think that the exercises were too easy and I was fit. (For "fit," substitute "young." You think you can do anything when you're young.) And then one day, if you haven't been taking care of yourself, you discover that not only are you old, but you're unfit. So this stretching challenge is part of my efforts to become old AND fit.

    If you’re skeptical, especially as someone who’s plus sized.. don’t be! I comeoleted this challenge at the end of December 2022-Jan 2023 to jump start my weight loss and it helped a TON within those 3 weeks. I got sick and hadn’t worked out in months, so I’m here to start again but this definitely the place you want to be!

    So its June 2023 - I am in my late 40s with numerous injuries and a 12 hour a day desk job. 2:42 I have spent over 21 days doing this - it has literally changed my flexibility. I can now move in ways I couldn’t - when I started the bicep stretch I could get rotate my hands - now I can fully. I changed a toilet seat this weekend which at 6”3 is awkward and painful - literally didn’t have any pain or discomfort as I basically did it in left lunge position with my left food along side the toilet. The format of no talk over and beeps meant I could do it while watching TV with one airbus in while it ran on my phone. Absolutely awesome. Which there was another advanced one!!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊

    Ok so honest review... I've been doing this for almost a month now. Not consistently but more like once in two days or sometimes 2-3 days consistently and I'm so surprised at how I'm almost able to hold my ankles while straightening my legs. Ik it isn't much but I'm as inflexible as a pole and this stretch is so easy yet effective. I've always wanted to be flexible but the stretches for even beginners were too advanced for me. Thank you so much Daniela for giving me a start. I love love love the routine and it makes my body feel like a butterfly. Thank you

    The tutorial felt like you were teaching me 1 on 1 while doing these stretches with simple nods and smiles. Those advices with ur hand gestures teaching me how to properly form my body was super! You're a great teacher. No annoying talks.
    BTW, yesterday was my first day and I'll continue it as a 21 day challenge. Today, my body feels the good kind of pain after a day at the gym (you know, like I've exercised hardcore even if I didn't due to no exercises the past months). It's a good kind of pain. I can't wait to finish the challenge. Thanks Daniela. ❤️

    Goal: to get more flexible & be able to do the splits
    Day 1: it was a painful stretch, but I got through it. I could barely touch my toes and my back hurt the whole time
    Day 3: I completed the whole workout without feeling pain, I could touch my toes and I could fully stretch my hamstrings!! I can already see results.
    around day 14: i have become way more flexible, i still can’t do the splits but stretching has become less painful. i have skipped a few days though
    Can’t wait until day 21

    Today I finished this challenge. I would like to thank you Daniela for your video. It helped me regain motivation to play sports after six months of idleness :) And of course I became more plastic and understood the whole effect of stretching.     I recently started taekwondo and I want to become more flexible since I’m pretty stiff and I also wanted to become more flexible not just in my legs
    After finishing the challenge, I’m going to continue it and also stretch to get my splits
    Day 1-8: (did prior to posting) ✅
    Day 9: ✅ Oof I had taekwondo today and it was he hardest class yet but I still did it these stretches! And I notice some improvement! These stretches are so much easier now!
    Day 10: didn’t stretch today since I was too sore
    REAL Day 10: ✅ Still felt a bit of Day 9, but I wasn’t going to miss another day.
    Day 11: ✅
    Day 12: ✅
    Day 13: ✅
    Day 14: ✅ Taekwondo today!
    Day 15: ✅ Taekwondo again 👀
    Day 16: ✅ Feel a bit sore in my legs from yesterday :,) I’ve never worked my body this hard before

    Day 19: ✅ My mom walked in on me and said that my form was really goos (she rarely ever compliments so I’m happy 🤧)

    School starts on August 16th, and I’ll be finished with this challenge by then, so I hope to see major improvement!

    I am 54 years old. I enjoyed the stretches and going to take the 21 day challenge. My body is needing this for a long time. I have knee and back problems and I don't want to have any surgeries at this point. I am trying whatever I can to get in shape. 🙂 I am a retire hairdresser and now a school bus driver. I have family to take care of and animals. I need this to work!

      Rememeber to be consistent! I did it approximately every two days in the January and it made me feel so much better! Now in February I’ll still do it but I’m adding some strengthening exercises too! Good luck!

    Hello, I looooved this video. No annoying talk-over. Simple☀. I increased my height by 4 inches in 4 months and this result is truly incredible for me. During this period, I used Shiydf and did regular stretching exercises every week. I hope everyone achieves their dreams!

    Day 2👊 after doing yoga I had such deep sleep that I can not tell you but I must say I was thankful
    Day 3 👊done it was quite easy today
    Day 4 👊 I was able to do without any glitch

    Im so glad I found this video. I’ve been walking around sliding my feet. Ouch. My muscles were so tight. My 10 hour sedentary days are literally killing me. Thank you.
